Grenada looks around to see all of the door in their poor condition, and wonders if the room Alpha is in was anything like this. Cautiously, he takes his first step into the room, almost hoping he was. That would make rescuing him that much easier. He looks at each door as he passes, but realizes that he can't see into any of the rooms, so he stops, angry.

"You all have to find Alpha, 'cause I can't see in the rooms."

So he waits for the others to check and see if Alpha was there. A hint of doubt touches him, Alpha could surely escape from these. He decides that they should head further down.

"I doubt they held him in these, though, I think he's further on."

Rose's Awareness Check succeeds (13+3[Roll+INT] vs. 15). Further down the tunnel, she spots a bluish glow, which emerges to light up the otherwise dim area. Coming closer to the the source of this light, you see that it is coming from a sphere sitting on a pedestal. It right next to the final door of the hallway. This one, unlike those before it, has no window and appears to be much more sturdy than the others.

If you listen carefully, you can hear a repetitive bang! from inside.

Rose wonders about the orb. It looks important, but she's afraid to find out what will happen if she touches it. So she turns her attention to the banging. What she is about to do is probably as stupid as touching the glowing sphere, but she does it anyway. She bangs on the door and see if there's a reaction to it.

OOC: Now to go back to Interlude 1 and refresh my memory on this ball.

As soon as Rose bangs on the door, the banging within the room comes to a stop. You hear a loud crunch, as if something metal has just been effortlessly torn apart. A muffled voice, which seems to belong to a girl, cries out, "If you could do that, why'd you waste time just banging on them!?!"

With the door in between you and the replier, it's difficult to make out the other voice clearly. But it does sound familiar when you hear it say, "Because then I would've gotten bored."

Rose has a good feeling about this. Both voices sound familiar, even though she hasn't listened to either of them for long. "Alpha?" she asks, a slight trace of caution in her voice. "Are you in there? And is there a Rito with you?"

OOC: Sorry, I'm horrible with names.

"Rose? Is that you? What took you guys so long?"

"We ran into some trouble," Shada yells as she moves to push open the door. When it doesn't move, she tries the Prison Key again and is pleasantly surprised to hear it working again. This time, the door opens up without trouble. Immediately, the Rito girl Calla flies out and grabs onto Rose, giving her a big hug.

Alpha stands on the other side, a sly grin on his face. Arms crossed over his chest, he approaches the battle-weary group. Taking one look at them, he slowly shakes his head. "Shada, you look absolutely terrible."

"I feel absolutely terrible, Keyru. You'd be amazed at what we've been through," she replies with a slow sigh.

Alpha nods. "You'll have to fill me in later. I suppose you have one of those robes for me?" Shada takes out an extra robe she had grabbed from the wardrobe and hands it to him, which he quickly dons without trouble. "Alright...any ideas as to how to escape this wretched hole in the ground?"

Blank was relieved that the mage had been found, at long last, and that the young Rito named Calla had remained safe with him. He smiled, the brown orbs in his eye sockets twinkling with delight as he watched the "happy" reunion. "Hello, there, Alpha." he said plainly, as if not entirely surprised nor enthusiastic after having traversed the dungeon and finding his ally. Of course, anyone who knew Blank well enough could see through his faulty charade. His expressions were literally bursting with glee as he gazed at the now liberated Sheikah.

"Calla, do you know a way out?" asked Blank. The young Rito girl had probably been dragged through the dungeon consciously, and so it seemed to make sense that she knew the proper direction to the entrance. Or at least, an alternative escape route.

OOC: I began to read over my own Cloaked Goron Guard topic from the beginning, and at about page 21, Alpha mentions the Moreks and Kroperg when comparing the Intelligent One's looks to the monsters. I can only imagine how long this has been planned out

OOC: You're just now remembering that? I had originally made up just the names, but when I added that into CGG, I began actually designing their appearance so that they would live up to Alpha's comparison.

Calla turns to Blank and sadly shakes her head. "I've been stuck in these cells the entire time I've been here. I have no clue as to how to escape."

Alpha frowns as he pulls the hood of his new Hakiems cloak up to cover his face. "Then I suppose we'll just have to find our own way out," he says finally. Reaching over to the glowing ball, he tucks it underneath his own cloak. "I'll be needing this, for now..." he says softly.

Looking up, you can see a faint smile form again. "Well, this'll just have to be a challenge. Shall we go?"

Rose returns the hug (OOC: Ha ha, I got a hug and you guys didn't. Ha ha. ).

She turns her thoughts to escape. "We could just let the Hakiems themselves lead us out," she suggests. "We'll just go up to someone who looks important and tell them that we'll go check the entrance to see if the prisoners made their way up there. And since we all pretty much look like initiates, I'm sure no one would be too surprised if we seem a little bit lost."

Nogare is relieved to see the Sheikan Mage alive. But there was time not to celebrate. He looked around. How can we get everyone out of here?

{Awareness Check}

'And now what?' Alex thought after the reunion, 'We're still trapped and they're still looking for us, unless they think we were killed by the Kroperg
"It's good to see you Alpha..." he said dryly "But we can't stay here for long"

Nogare's Awareness Check succeeds (14+4[Roll+INT]); however, he notices nothing additional that could aid in their escape. There is only one exit to the prison area, and that the door they came through.

Alpha nods in agreement with Rose's plan. "I suppose that's the best shot we have," he says calmly. "Let's get moving then."

When the sight of Alpha filled the vagabonds eyes, he was instantly relieved. A simple nod, and a thumbs up. "heh. Great to see you in one piece Alpha. What exactly happened to you? You look fine, but im sure they had some reason for keeping you alive." Dogura pulled the hood over his head, however his robe was torn and tattered from the previous fight. It had scorch marks, as did Dogura's arms and legs. He was ready to roll. As long as the Kroperg was gone for good, he would gladly take the nearest exit. "Any idea's Alpha? The defeat of the Kroperg is obviously spreading around these halls as we stand here. Lets move!". Dogura walked, and then started into a painful stagger to the nearest door.

Alpha grins at Dogura. "They apparently wanted to ransom all of our lives for Master Zaris' and his Goldforce Power. At least, that's what Zaboorak told me..." He shivers at the thought of his previous encounter with the evil Zora, obviously not wanting to talk any more about it.

At the next words out of the Ranger's mouth, the Sheikah turns and looks at them in awe. "You guys defeated a Kroperg!?!"

Shada shrugs her shoulders in affirmation. "It was just a baby."

"Just a baby! That's something even Master Zaris tried to avoid facing." Alpha's eyebrows rise in disbelief, obviously impressed. He walks, much slower than before due to his surprise, towards the exit to the prison area.

Rose frowns. "We didn't try to get into a fight with it," she says sourly. "And just about everyone was killed in the process." Rose shudders. "Please tell me there is no way they can escape from the Hakiems."

OOC: By the way, you know how Alpha has an aversion to flutes? Well, I think Rose is going to avoid pork from now on.
