As Rose slips on a robe, she asks, "Is that red robe for the leader?"

Shada shrugs at Rose's question. "It could be, I suppose. No way of knowing for certain." Giggling at Kasei's act, she motions for the rest of the group to doon their own cloaks for now.

Rose rolls her eyes, but she doesn't say anything to Kasei. Instead, she asks, "We should have our hoods up to keep any Hakiems from recognizing us as the prisoners, but will that look suspicious?"

"Uh, guys, there's no way any of those robes are fitting me..."

He motions to his small size, with a sad look. Then an idea comes to mind:

"What if you guys took me prisoner and tied me up?"

"Well, that's their problem."

Grenada says cockily, a smile crosses his face but this one has a wild look, not his normal calm. He doens't think that would happen, but they wouldn't be able to protect him, to keep their cover, they would have to attack. He asked himseld, did he really want to be all alone against the Hakiems? He wasn't afraid of the initiates, they could be slain with little effort. He decided he could be in much worse positions.

Dogura put on a robe, and slipped his arms through the holes. He turned and pondered at the Deku's situation before asking "Does anyone know the ablity shrink? Would that work on a peice of clothing? If not, we could just take him prisoner, like he suggested."Pondering a bit more, He jogged over to shada. "Are you sure we wont look suspiciouse? Could we possibly walk through a crowd of Hakiem without being noticed?" As he moved his arms through the robe, it was silky soft, and he hoped he could keep it, not as a sign of friendship to the Hakiems, but to wear around his home, or use on other Hakiem related missions.

Hi no Seijin wrote:OOC: Honestly, Nogare, you need to go back and read the details for yourself. But as quick as I can, Dyquis nearly kills us all, but we finally beat it. After every heals themselves, we go forward and find a tree with Ice Seeds on it. A woman tells us about these seeds, or something like that, and then she uses a Deku Nut to disappear. Blank found a key, and we are heading back to the room with the Moreks or whatever those hellish looking dogs are called.
OOC: Thanks. I was gone AGAIN because my mom wanted to go shopping, and I had to come. I can't beleive this!

But... ok, I'll tell the truth of why I don't look back... *strums guitar* It began, many, many hours ago. About 5000 hours ago or so... aka when I joined the game in March... I began to post for a while... and I... I wanted to do my story in order of the events, but... it was impossible now; I ended up posting and joining events faster than I could get back to me own story... and... even to the present day, still can't get to all of the events I had planned. So basically, I want more time to get to the other ones...
fine, then tell nogare to get off his lazy behind!

Oh, come on, Kasei! I an't help that I've been gone all day!
OOC: Hurray! I'm not poisoned for the rest of the dungeon! And thanks for healing me, Nogare.
You wak um! (That's... Italian, I belive... or spanish, I can't deside... It means 'You're welcome') 'tis the job of a warrior ro protect his land and people.

Master Goron wrote:IC: (During the time a da squid.)
Raising his slimy, bloody, and altogether damaged blade to the sky, Grenada starts making his way around the room congratulating all of the participants for their contribution, perseverence, and a battle well fought. When he has succeeded in that, he puts the hearts to the foreground again:

"So, anyone ready for a delicious heart?"
Nogare igonred him. It's over... at last... I pray that was the end of the battle...
As he knew, although the beast was dead, the overall battle to come was far from over... As they went through to the other rooms, he stayed, for he knew that he was good enough for now. They should at least get first dibs.
Alpha wrote:With everyone healed, as well as the now revived Link, Shada leads the way back to Dyquis' chamber. "Well then," she says as she draws her daggers again, "shall we?" She motions to the doorway, indicating that someone else should open it.
(Now, during and after the time that they talk to the woman at the tree.)

Throughout teh time the woman spoke, he listened intently.
Alf the great wrote:The next room is a very welcome change from the room where so much fighting had taken place.

The chamber twinkles with sparkling blue lights, truly a thing of beauty in such a battle-scarred area. The room is circular, holding no exits other than the one you are entering from. The source of the lights is a beautiful tree standing in the center of the room. It's branches hold azure leaves and shining seeds. The roots of the tree are spread throughout the room, covering the entire floor.

Other than the tree, the only thing in the room is a plaque mounted on the ground:
Quote:
Congratulations, initiates! You have surpassed many of our challenges, and have proved you are worthy to join the ranks of the Hakiems Tribe.

Above you stands the Tree of Winter. It bears the Arctic Seeds, the fruits of many years of spellcasting. Their power lies in the element of ice. Return to the beginning to claim your Hakiem Robe, and then present yourself to those in charge to be admitted.

-Master Jinur

"This was always Jinur's favorite way of testing possible students..." a woman's voice comes from behind the tree. "As is the Hakiems' custom, it was sealed away after his death, and the creatures within it left to rot away."

"Who -" Shada leaps over to where the tree stands, looking behind.

"You stand within the Water District, the area that holds the water flow of the entire base." Looking up into the branches, you can see a being clothed in a blue robe standing there. "You will certainly need these seeds if you are to survive this trek. They can freeze anything and everything, without fail.

"The key you seek to Keyru Varaudo's prison lies two floors beneath this level, past the cursed Moreks. I suggest you get going." A Deku Nut flies down from the branches, exploding in a brilliant flash of light. When the light fades, the woman is gone without a trace.
Nogare was shocked as she vanished. But he calmed quickly, being that he knew of how the Deku nut worked. Nogare all the while kept back, though. I must wait until I am needed before I present myself.

As Blank found the key, he followed as they headed back to the Moreks.
Kasei the weird wrote:IC: nogare, raven, hurry up!
He was silent. There was no need to answer.
That same little Loonie-tone wrote:can you hurry up?!?
No need to answer that; he just can tolerate; it will require as much silence as possible for them to not get the Moreks mad.
The guy who can't shut up wrote:fine, then tell nogare to get off his lazy behind!
He's not even looking at me. If he had proper ears, he would know that I'm coming right behind him!

The others were looking around quite a bit. He didn't bother to interfear.

When they reach the wardrobe, Nogare is quick to put on his own cloak. He makes sure that he hide himself as much as he can.
Mastery of weirdness wrote:He heard as Kasei teased Grenada:

Now, Nogare looked at the others, asuming that's what he looked like. Well, at least no one will find my clothes odd...

"I should think we're alright..." Nogare said to him quietly, enough for the group to hear, in case Haikems were near...

Blank donned the Hakiem robe, fitting over his own short cloak. It was very uncomfortable; he would have removed his other cloak if the group were to return to this place later, but he knew this would not happen. Instead he was forced to accept the tight fit of the robe, and he felt like he had grown to twice his size. Just great, he thought, realizing that the robe granted no stat buff as he had hoped. At least it'll make a good disguise.

For a brief moment, he wondered if the Moreks would leave the party in peace in their disguised state, but the thought of that was cast away instantly. They feel pain every second of their life, and as Shada said, they'll want to inflict as much pain on people who don't pity them... The nomad suddenly snapped back to attention, with a jerk of his head and a twist of his arms, as though he had awoken from a deep sleep standing in the "Robe Room."

"If memory serves, the Moreks will attack those who don't show pity to their agony. But we do! We all know it's terrible for them to be in such pain, and we all feel badly for them. With that reasoning, will they still want us, the sympathetic passers-by, to feel the same torture?"

Nogare slipped his cloak on. It was very tight, making him wince in pain as he put it on, from the wounds from the battle before. He then heard Blank's question. "We can only hope for the best, Blank."

Arco, with a sore on the side of his head from an slip-whoa!-crack combination back when they had traversed the ice (but otherwise healed in mind and body), browses the cloak racks. In his search for a better-fitting outfit than some of the others seemed to have picked up, he eventually ends up desperately shooting his hand into a mass of black and grey, hoping to get lucky.

The Sheikah stands dumbly, staring into the careful weave of the clean, new cloak in his arms... that happens to be unbelieveably small.

Short sleeves, narrow hem, short and narrow everything.

Coming to, he looks around him, and remembers Grenada's earlier proposition about acting like a prisoner. Stepping towards the Deku:

"Grenada--this might fit you. I suppose the Hakiems don't exclude very short Sheikah; or, did Alpha mention something about them occasionally including people of other races provided that they are of exceptional merit?"

Arco, a bit winded from the speech, thrusts this into Grenada's arms and then turns continues his search for perfection.

Ah--yes, this is good.

The Bard preens for a moment, looking down at himself, and then pirouettes in a manner that makes you raise your eyebrows. That guy and his and clothes... you watch him draw his dagger experimentally, lopping off an imaginary head as he swings it out and back in.

After a moment, Arco moves over to Blank. He taps the man on a shoulder. "Blank--I think you used up yours?" He hands the brown-eyed man a small, durable sack filled with several more Arctic Seeds; one never knows if they'll still come in handy later on.

Maybe even in combat.

The grey Sheikah pats his own sack with an air of satisfaction and, mildly wishing that he had a mirror, slips on the dark hood.

OOC: By the way, Nogare, just to play the grumpy old contrary guy again, your excuse about not being able to read back three pages seems to boil down to "I don't have enough time." Guess I can't bother you about that, seeing as the reason I'm able to keep up in this thread myself is that I have tons of free time on my hands nowadays. College is a cakewalk!

OOC: There were a few pages I didnt read myslef, but they were in the 20's area. They are most likely erelevant now. anyways how do you spell erelevant, or w/e. I use the word a lot just assuming im spelling it right

IC: Dogura had gotten lucky, and picked outon of the softer Hakiem robes. Maybe it was a girl robe. Wait a minute... Dogura thought. Are there hakiem girls? Dogura had just realized that he hadnt seen a single hakiem girl since they enetered. He shook away the thought suddering at how Hakiems reproduce, and began searching the pockets of the vacant robes still hanging there, hoping to find something of value.
OOC: Where is Alpha? He hasnt been here for a while.

OOC: Sounds busy Nogare, whew! By the way, I forgot to mention that I'm a (proud) initiate member of Sarcasm to the Extreme(TM); you know, Alpha's thing. :P

IC: Arco notes Dogura's very smart action, and then follows suit by checking throughout the rest of the room for any items that also might be stored, other than the initiate robes (ooc: search). When he chances upon the red robe, he wonders briefly--the note? 'Jinur?'--and then wonders where that thought came from. But he can't help wondering whether that robe, and better yet the ones everyone's wearing now, have special properties of any sort. Perhaps they aid in Shadowmeld?

Wonder, wonder, wonder, is there anything else?
