OOC: Oh yeah, that's right. You were kind enough for that. Okay, last attack before this thing decides to attack me.
IC:
Rose moves in for one more slash before taking a break. This thing can't avoid us forever, she thinks as she performs a jump attack on the gigantic nose.

OOC: By "doesn't like us" you mean that it isn't consistently rolling 20's? Yeah, it's a meanie XD. Anyway, I'm glad we're getting somewhere, finallly...
IC: Arco nods with satisfaction as he sees the seeds find their way right to the target (unlike anything else). Since it seems to be having its desired effect on the Kroperg, Arco reaches into his pouch for another seed. He rolls it around in his palm as he takes a step backwards...
Then, as he swings his arm forward and lets go of the seed, he slips on the wet floor. You see that the throw clearly went awry... it sails high over the Kroperg's head... but then again, you never know.
Another thing catches your eye, and that's that as Arco fell, several small, bulging pouches were thrown from somewhere on his person and skid across the floor. Something tells you that should you go inspect the contents of a pouch, it'll be full of Arctic Seeds...
Arco smiles embarrassingly.
OOC: Just so no one has any excuses... those are free to pick up. *rolls eyes* I know, I know...

OOC: Alpha, I believe I once stated on TDC Forums that you should be writing for Nintendo. They'd definitely be impressed with your Kroperg; beats giant Octoroks and Chus any day of the week
I have yet to discover just what you intend for us to do at this point. It seems that the agility is potentially dropping each turn. But, knowing you, I doubt it'll stay low very long XD Especially after you've implied that we're missing the big picture.
Also, Victor told me that he won't be around much unless on weekends. I'm sure he'd be glad that you're poisoning him; you're just as bad as I am XD But at least he was around for my cruelty Anyway, long OOC stuff aside, here's an IC for your trouble
IC:
Blank felt awful. The mist, an element of the battle that would seem welcome to anyone else, only intruded on his faltering nerves. Where there was mist, there was usually a high level of humidity. The fire-based boar's presence only seemed to add to the inconvenience. The nomad, a Hylian, was oddly gifted with a higher intelligence, and he knew all too well the effect of water being heated. Evaporation, condensation... a never ending cycle that would not give him the greatest of comfort in such close quarters. The sweat was beginning to build on his body, dripping to the ground. His hair was drenched by it; every movement brought on a quiet patter of the salty droplets, each exploding as they made contact with the floor. Blank's eyes inquisitively followed the liquefied beads to their halted ends.
There are cracks... in the floor... A small realization dawned on him, although he could not entirely grasp just what type of plans were formulating in his mind. It involved... explosions. Perhaps some water, if he was lucky. It hit him like a headlong ram from the colossal hog. It seemed simple, and he wondered how he had not noticed before. Perhaps he was tired. He didn't know, but if that were the case, the plan held less esteem. Maybe the idea was just the far-fetched scheme of a fatigued nomad. Still, at the rate that the Kroperg's health was diminishing, anything seemed like a worthy idea.
"Kasei... or anyone who holds bombs... lob one at one of these cracks here, in the floor." Blank knew that the others would catch on quickly enough; most of them were relatively bright. He shivered; although he was sweating like... a roasting pig... the constant onslaught of ice from his comrades still managed to chill him to the bone. It was an awful feeling, being freezing and boiling all at once. It made the Hylian feel quite ill, but he knew he'd get over it soon enough.
OOC: Sorry if you didn't care for me adding in that humidity effect; it just seemed like something that would be happening, so I couldn't resist... Also, looking back to the description of the room, I noticed that you did indeed say that there were cracks present in the floor. Maybe I'm just swiping at hopeless endeavours, eh? XD

OOC: I gotta say, you've got a talent for successfully saying what I wanted to say but didn't know quite how to XD. *applause* Anyway... good eye. Maybe Arco can Dig on his next turn? *Chuckles* (Only... if the cracks lead to a gaping pit, he'll be going right with Dr. Gre Pork...).

OOC: Blank, that's my dream job right there. I already have my Staff of Time game ready to go if I ever get the opportunity...
...okay, yeah, so I have a really difficult plot twist that I want to work out, but I can't figure out how it could. Oh well, I've still got 12 dungeons, a ton of bosses, new characters, and the imagination of a ten year old child. What could go wrong?
Oh, and by the way...stop making fun of my names! XD
IC:
Rose's sword once again fails to come anywhere close to the Kroperg (2+4[Roll+AGI]), and no damage is done.
Arco's seed does indeed do something strange. In the height of its arch, it suddenly stops in midair and falls down, landing right on the Kroperg's back and letting loose another snowy burst onto the boar.
The Kroperg loses 1 AGI.
Kroperg: 198 HP, 4 AGI
OOC: No, I don't really care...you guys make fun of Sir Ger Pork all you want.

IC: Grenada turns around after having narrowly missed the cursed beast on his last turn and notices the thick coats of ice have slowed it considerably. He considers why the seeds seem ro be homing in on the Kroperg. A thought crosses his mind hat too much of a good thing could actually be a bad thing.
"Guys, be aware, I'm not certain, but the seeds seem mystically homing in on this demon. I'm not sure if that has any significance, but what if, theoretically, the ice becomes a shield to him, like the fur originally is. I'm not saying I don't appreciate what they've done so far, but if they begin to help him, I'm gonna be the first to say: I told ya so."
A smile again crossing his face, he moves his blade into his left hand, and begins spinning it around, back to front, in a symmetric arc. His head raises and becomes cocked to the right by only the tiniest margin. His breathing slows, the sword keeps spinning, and if one watched intently, they would notice the miniscule rhythmic movements of his head following the sword's path. In an instant, a loud "kathoonk" is heard, and in his right hand sits a hard brown shell. Taking his index finger behind it, he used a little flick of his wrist to propel it to the blade of the sword. The timing is so precise, you see the very tip of the blade connect with the seam of the nut, causing a tiny crack in the casing. The sword stops pointed straight at the Kroperg, and the blacde flies from left to right, become infused into the crease of his right hand. Floating high into the sky, the seed begins its descent in front of the Kroperg when suddenly the two pieces of shell are drawn apart as if by magic. He watches the seed emerge and keeps his gaze locked as a bright flash ensues, drowning the area in light. He turns his attention to seeing if the seed did it's job.

Missing his intended target he jumps quiclky out the way of the Kroperg's stampeding legs before he gets crushed beneath them. Not one to give up, especially when angered, Raven races after the giant pig. He leaps onto the Kropberg's back then kicking off with one foot he flies into the air; he positions his dagger as he falls to slam into the snout of the creature.

Humidity was really not one of Tayro's favourite things... the moist and damp place the room ha dbecome was driving the mage apprentice's body weaker and feeble.
Great... I must be catching a cold...
The boy tried o heat himself up a bit - a fever now would really not help the case. The real deal now was Alpha, anything and all they did was dependant of it. They had to save him, he was so close he could almost reach him... only one final obstacle remained - the Great Pork - Kroperg.
*atchoo*
Maybe the creature's fur spread all over could also be what was making Tayro sneeze? alas, that was unimportant now, but as a thought comes to mind, it's hard to take it away. He had to completely focus on the beast... or else his mission... their mission would be unsucessful, and they could not make mistakes. Alpha''s life was on stake.
*atchoo*
As the boy avoided the boar's excessive movements, he could only focus on something.
That is one big snout... an elephant would be a quite nice match to it...
Suddenly, another thought, like many other came to mind. if the snout had vacuuming properties leading to his internal heat... what would happen if his core just became colder?
One thing's for sure... I would not be the only one sneezing here.
*atchoo*`
Grabbing his satchel, he poured his hand inside, and grabbed a sole Artic Seed from its contents, its icy colour giving a bit more of light into the room. Not wasting his time to appreciate the warmth the colour gave the room, he aimed not for the creature's legs like his party, and instead for his massive snout.~
"Here goes nothing!"-he said, as he threw his freezing item forward, hoping for some effect.

That's it! That's where the 'erg' in Kroperg came from! HAH HAH HAH! I remember now; I spelled 'Great Pork' backwards and took out the 'at'! Good work, Dream Illusionist.
IC:
Grenada's Deku Nut flies forward as his Innate Check succeeds (20+1[Roll+INT]). The bright flash momentarily stuns the Kroperg, distinguishing any chance the beast might have had at attacking this turn.
Raven's strike nearly hits the intended target, but the boar only remains stunned for a second. As it gallops off, the Sheikah is unable to get a hit (13+4[Roll+AGI]), so no damage is done.
Tayro's seed, like those before it, homes in on the rampaging beast and smashes right into its intended target - the beast's long snout. Ice floods into it as it lets out a cry of pain. Unable to concentrate at all, the Kroperg loses another AGI. But that's not all, for while the beast is still trying to recover from the frozen impact Tayro has just delievered, Shada slings her own seed and covers one of the pig's legs in a layer of ice as well.
The Kroperg loses 2 AGI.
Kroperg: 198 HP, 2 AGI

Grenada lets out a sigh of relief when his seed blinds the Kroperg, and he knows that this prevented an attack on someone. He's sad however, when the beast avoids all damage completely.Raising his sword high, and pointing it to the sky, he keeps his eyes locked to the Kroperg. His muscles in his hand flex, and the blade is released from his hand. It falls straight, keeping a ninety-degree angle to the ground, he quickly reaches down, catching the hilt of the blade with his hand the opposite way, he charges at the Kroperg, and slashes upward toward the pigs long nose.

IC: kasei had no idea what to do, here he was, fighting something that looks like last weeks lunch, surrounded by a bunch of people who will probably try to turn him into the royal guard the second they leave the base. he didn't have the others to back him up, he's been getting the idea that shada wants to kill him, and again, he's fighting a pig!!!! what did he do? the same thing he's been doing the whole fight, tossing bombs where the others indicated... heh, damn, I can't believe this walking steak is so tough! kasei unleashed the bombs, tossing them at the cracks, and to back that up, he unleashed a volley of arrows at the pig...
OOC: sorry, alpha, for not posting sooner, I hope this makes up...

Thanks!
Now... for some more action!
IC:
The boy observed the seed's flight carefully, hoping it would hit the pre-determined target. All seemed to go in complete slow-motion, the seed approaching and approaching, Tayro starting to sweat of nervousness, and...
"It hit!"-the boy yelled of contemptment. He felt like jumping and congratulate himself, and was by a mere thought echoing in his mind that he hesitated to.
This is no time for celebrations. We'll do that once we know Alpha's safe and sound and we're outta here.
Setting his sights on the now quite heavier pig, he gave the creature a quite menacing glare, that would be able to intimidate some. Tayro knew that wouldn't be the case with the creature.
And for that... You'll have to fall!
*atchoo*
Sneezing once again, the hylian had one large desire on his mind - to get out of this place and get warm and dry, the exact contrary of the current scenario.
Alpha...his desire... all were factors that aided in his resolve. The massive beast had to be slain. Seeing the creature phazed by the icy contact, the boy once again grabbed another freezy seed from his linen satchel. Hoisting not one but two seeds in the air, the boy attempted another technique. Grabbing a seed in each hand, he would attempt something that his mind had told him to. If all went according to his plan, the beast would not be able to attack them that easily.
Tayro aimed once again at his target, and threw both seeds at the same time, each forwarded not for his body, legs nor snout. Their target? The eyes!

Grenada's blade flies straight towards its target, but as with every time before, the Kroperg runs out of the way before the Deku Sword can even hope to connect (3+5[Roll+AGI]).
As the bombs Kasei threw blow up along the floor's cracks, the entire area begins to shake. There's no telling whether this is a direct result of the explosions or if an earthquake had just happened to strike, but one thing is clear: the blasts did nothing at all to the flooring.
However, Kasei's arrows have a very different effect. With perfect aim (OOC: and the best post I've ever seen him make...at least it lasted more than a sentence), the arrows jab into the Kroperg (20+5[Roll+AGI]), dealing a full 1 DMG...yeah, nothing too spectacular.
The beast lurches around the arena, turning and galloping towards the person who has just injured it: Kasei. With a mighty lunge, the boar's teeth jab inside the mercenary's body and rip it apart (20+2[Roll+AGI]), dealing 3 DMG and inducing a terrible poisoning in the process.
Before it can eat up any more of the Grunt's flesh, Tayro's seeds fly out and strike right into the Kroperg's eye...lids. But the effect is just as great - and probably a lot greater than what the boy had in mind. Without warning, the magically-caused ice begins expanding as the beast slows to a stop.
The ice continues its conquering drive as it moves to cover the Kroperg in its entirety. No portion of the boar's body is safe from the arctic chill as it stretches out and creates...a Pork-sicle! (XD)
But could it really be that easy? Of course not. Deep in the icicle, the pig's raging heart of flames instantly beats even more harshly as anger grips the swine. Heat begins to pour outward, weakening the mystical freeze. With a mighty roar, the Kroperg bursts out of the icicle and lands a safe distance away. No longer is the ice covering its body, and its AGI returns to normal.
But as the ice shatters, it takes something with it: every single strand of the Kroperg's iron-hard fur. Without it, the beast can no longer defend itself, nor can its Needle Mail ability be utilize.
The Kroperg gains 10 AGI, and loses both its 13 DEF and the Needle Mail.
Nogare's Dodge Check succeeds (15+7+3[Roll+INT+AGI]), giving him a fair chance to get away from any attack launched in his direction.
Kasei: 23 HP, poisoned 3 turns
Kroperg: 197 HP, 10 AGI, 0 DEF
