Victor had just finished taking a look at the Hakiem training area when the double doors burst open. Seeing the three Hakiems, he froze in fright, expecting the worst. However, when the others began to fight, the Bard realized that he would have to join in, and unsheathed his dagger in order to do so. Pointing the... point at the nearest Hakiem, he tried a battle cry of his own...
"Err... die?"
... but, although failing at that, he followed up with a strong thrust towards the Hakiem's chest...

Alex's Boomerang flies in at the first Hakiem, but the Sheikah deftly sidesteps it and avoids the projectile (5+3 [Roll+AGI] vs. 3+5[DEF+AGI]). He instantly closes the gap with the Zora and brings his dagger around in an attack that slices into Alex's arm (3+5 [Roll+AGI] vs. 3+3 [DEF+AGI]), dealing 7 DMG.
Dogura's dagger similarly misses its intended target (1+6[Roll+AGI] vs. 3+5[DEF+AGI]). The Hakiems' Bronze Sword swings around and catches him right in the back (18+5[Roll+AGI] vs. 8[DEF+AGI]), dealing another 7 DMG.
Can Rose give them any advantage at all? Indeed she does. Her fiery outburst catches the third Hakiem offguard (13+4[Roll+SPI] vs. 20), and he takes a full 10 DMG. He quickly attempts to strike her back, lunging forward with his Bronze Sword held high. But he is unable to reach her before she jumps out of his way (11+5[Roll+AGI] vs. 16+3[DEF+AGI]).
Nogare's attack also penetrates the first Hakiems' defensive posture (6+3[Roll+AGI] vs. 3+5[DEF+AGI]) and deals 8 DMG. The Hakiem strikes back this time with a focused Elemental Burst. The wind attack flies outward, and there is nothing to the Vassal can do to shield himself from the full 7 DMG (3+1[Roll+SPI] vs. 20).
Blank's sword aims for the second Hakiem, the only one still at full health...and it is destined to stay that way for now. Blank's sword flies past (2+2[Roll+AGI] vs. 3+5[DEF+AGI]), giving the Hakiem the perfect opportunity for a counterattack. Unfortunately for him, but fortunately for Blank, the nomad's body ends up pushing him off balance and his attack misses as well (1+5[Roll+AGI] vs. 5+2[DEF+AGI]).
Shada charges in with both daggers, also aiming for the second Hakiem. Her attacks strike home, at last damaging him (13+7[Roll+AGI]) by 11 points. The Hakiem attempts to Disarm her, and succeeds in knocking both daggers from the Sheikah's hands (17+1[Roll+INT] vs. 15) and dealing 7 DMG. Her Deku Daggers fall to the floor, and she will have to spend the next turn retrieving them.

Masking himself in a dark corner Darilan studies the enemy. On his notepad he sketches a Hakiem, makes note of its fighting technique, and tries to determine a weakness. (The Quill is Mightier than the Sword L1)

OOC: Wasn't I hurt?! Oh well. Let's just say I wasn't  . I've gtg anyway, too. Bt i have just enough time for this;
IC: Nogare smiled. "At least he isn't wearing any armor..." He said. He tried to get back before the enemy could attack him. He totally ignored what came at him, and readied himself for another attack. But he looked to his allies. Were they wounded badly? Defending Hyrule didn't only mean savilians... But they were all alright. Good enough, anyway. And besides; Grenada as the hearts. He went for the same Haikem he had attacked before. He swung his sword firmly, horizontally, to hit the enemy's hand. They can still use will power, though... blast. Oh well. I will need someone to attack him while he's disarmed... He consintrated hard, and, although he never used a sword before now, he went for an attack.

Dogura hops back, and stares the hakiem down. His back wasnt mortally wounded, but it still ached from the last blow. "Damn daggar." Dogura said under his breat, as he leapt in for another attack. This time, he was more than prepared to dodge one its counter attacks. His daggar seemed to glow, as he drove it into the enemy, now harder than before, with incredible soul in this attack.

Arco had been staring at Blank's blood-sopped back and wondering if they should do something about it when they chanced upon the Hakiems. And as if a curtain had been pulled over a window, his innate inquisitiveness died off and his deathly tepidness deepened, and boiled over...
With his eyes the grey, liquid glassiness of quicksilver, his body shrunk and bended, moving toward the Hakiems, dagger-hand pulled back...
And then, time seemed to slow as he watched two matching deku daggers bounce off the floor and leap from it towards him. Sheer, adventurer's instinct caused him to sheath his dagger and step back, nimbly catching the daggers, one in each hand.
Arco hesitates, looks at the daggers, and then looks up. He sees Shada reeling from the Hakiem's blow, her arms splayed to the side from the disarm, and something in his mind goes "A-ha!"
A blur of teal and tan, and suddenly, Arco stands beside Shada. "Your daggers," he says simply, and presses them into her hands. Having done this, he straps his small, oblong shield onto his left forearm, draws his own dagger, and steps forward and to the side, readying himself for the next attacks.
OOC: Thus ends Arco's turn. ^^ What can I say, I like making GM's twitch, Shada's stats trump Arco's in all respects, and the idea just wouldn't go away.
By the way; very interesting that you've made it so that our opponents get to counter-attack as many times as they get attacked; really evens out the odds in their favor. Very clever!

Seeing the contents of the first room was a bit sickening for the young hylian, who was clearly shocked at such a dreaded view.
"That's one sight I'd gladly live without..."-he mumbled, disgusted.
Getting his distance from the door, he accompanied the group in checking the other door.
I don't think that's the way we wanna go.- the boy thought, still having a bit of nausea from the distorted dogs.
Only then he noticed that a fight had begun, the party launching itself against four Hakiems.
How dare they start having fun without me!
Getting his staff ready, he gets hold of it with his left hand, whilst his right hand does different shapes in the air, a rune appearing before the boy. Still chanting, the boy gets his Deku Staff on to his right hand, and with its tip, touches the middle of the rune circle.
"Elemental Burst!!"- he shouts, as the rune forms a ball of energy, who goes at a high speed against a Hakiem.

Rose grinned at the failed attack of the Hakiem. It wasn't so much out of confidence; it was more to irritate the Hakiem and prevent him from thinking straight. She pulled out her dagger and slashed upwards at the Hakiem that just attacked her.

OOC: Man, have I missed a LOT. I guess that's what happens when you live in an another country to the other players (I assume). Time to play catch up...
Raven slowly wakes up and pulls himself up into a sitting position and yawns heavily. (It seems that Raven slept even after the blow to his head wore off.) He leans his head to the side so it almost touches his shoulder, as he does so there is a series of sickening crunches and cracks coming from his neck - which would make anyone in the room think that he had broken his own neck - then he moves his head to the other side with similar results. He gets onto his feet stretches his arms out in front of him causing cracks to enemate from his elbows and shoudlers although they sound delicate to what came before them. Not yet done, he plants his right foot firmly on the ground and twists his leg without moving his foot resulting in yet another crack from his knee. What happened to him suddenly comes back when he sees the many slits that cover his clothes. He walks out the room his hand cracking as it forms a fist.
When he walks into the corridor the first thing he notices is the dead Hakiem lying in a pool of his own blood. Looking at the Hakiem he remembers: his dagger where is it? He franticly pads himself searching for his dagger but to no avial, also where had his Tunic gone? He then notices the candlelight and within its glow he saw his dagger lying abandoned on the floor. He picked it up, dusted it off and put it into his belt. He also found his tunic and pulled it on. Once comfortable in his next-to-no-protection armour. He decides to see what all the noise he has been hearing since he woke up was about.
He walks in to the Mess Hall and sees that the noises he heard were fighting noises. He sees the group fighting agianst three Hakiems and a young girl lying against the doorway. His eyes dart back and forth from the group and the girl. They seem to be holding them off well enough. Raven swiftly races towards the battle but instead of siding with the group he bypasses them and grabs hold of the girl to take her out of the range of the battle.

OOC: In the proccess of switching computers, there are days without the internet, yesterday, was that day for me...
But im here now! So lets get on with the one and only cleric of Hyrule!
IC
Denning awakes from his little nap, and finds him self alone in a cell. It was obvious that others were here. So Denning gets up, and gets out of the cell. He sees the drawres, and gets his tunic and staff. he whirls the staff around, then puts it in his left hand, incase he had to fight someting. He sees open doors, and rushes through them till he finds the group.
"Hey guys, you know, thanks for just leaving me in the cell back there! I really apriciate it! Anyways, I see we have got some trouble here, now dont mind me! Just go on with it, we can talk after!"
Denning, still a little mad about his "friends" leaving him alone, does not enter battle, but waits out of range, while practicing his healing magics, for he figures, hes gona need it in here.

OOC: It strikes me that I should have expected to have to do nine attacks in a single post. But I still don't see why you people subject me to such torture!
Nogare, sorry. Knew I forgot something; it has been corrected, even if you didn't want it to be.
Thanks Weien. I actually got the idea from RG Draug, who used it in that Goron Under Attack quest...you might've missed that one. And about the daggers...I don't mind too much, but I think I'll keep Shada from attacking this turn anyway. I've got enough attacks to cover! ...
IC:
Alex's second attempt is successful, and the dagger slices into the chest of the third Hakiem (16+3 [Roll+AGI]). The Hakiem immediately counters with his own sword, slashing into the Zora's back (10+5 [Roll+AGI]). Both have taken another 7 DMG.
Victor's strike jabs into the arm of the first Hakiem (11+3 [Roll+AGI]), but the Hakiem's attack is just as successful (13+5 [Roll+AGI]). 7 DMG is done to each.
Darilan's quickly jots down notes, and soon enough finds a weakness in their stance. From the way they defend themselves, these Hakiems L4 leave their knees open for someone with good aim.
Nogare's attack burst through the second Hakiem's defense (8+3[Roll+AGI]), dealing 8 DMG. The Sheikah immediately strikes back (6+5[Roll+AGI]) for 7 DMG. Dogura's dagger similarly strikes home on the third one (11+6 [Roll+AGI]), but even with his great abilities he cannot avoid the Sheikah's retaliation (7+5 [Roll+AGI]). Both take 7 DMG.
Shada turns back to receive her daggers from Arco, and gives him a charming smile. "Thanks, Arco, I owe you one." She too assumes a battle pose, preparing for another strike. She spots Tayro going in for an Elemental Burst attack, which wields the power of water. The icy blast flies outward, enveloping the first Hakiem completely (8+1[Roll+SPI] vs. 20) and dealing 11 DMG. But when he is free, the Hakiem launches his own Burst. Tayro tries to resist (16+3[Roll+SPI] vs. 20), but he too fails, succuming to the Shadow-element attack. Since it is the element Tayro is weakest against, it deals a full 12 DMG.
Rose continues battling the third Hakiem, and slashes through him with ease (18+3[Roll+AGI]) to deal 7 DMG. No, 6 DMG...because that's all the HP he had left. The Hakiem crumbles to the ground, and it is then that you can see that Rose's perfectly executed attack stabbed him right in the heart.
Seeing a foe fall, the remaining two Hakiems automatically invoke their Avenger's Strength, granting them a +2 bonus to their STR and AGI. Just in time for the second one to be taken apart by Raven's strike (20+6[Roll+AGI]). He receives another 7 DMG, but quickly returns the favor (17+7[Roll+AGI*]). With his new strength, he deals a full 9 DMG to the theif.
Hakiem 1: 4 HP, 9 SPL
Hakiem 2: 4 HP, 9 SPL
Hakiem 3: eliminated
Alex: 18 HP
Victor: 34 HP
Darilan: 23 HP, 11 SPL
Nogare: 27 HP
Dogura: 18 HP
Arco: 31 HP

Rose: 31 HP, 0 SPL
Raven: 21 HP

Shada: 34 HP
OOC: A special thanks to Denning and Kasei. I really did need someone to take the initiative and say "He's got too much on his plate already; I'll wait." I appreciate it.

Tayro cheers as his Water-element blow hits home, yet doesn't have much time to celebrate, as another energy orb, this one containing a Shadow-element strikes him, throwing the boy backwards."Ow!"-Tayro moans, trying to shake the Shadow Element out of him.-"Not good, not good!"
Glaring at the evil sheikahs, he gets up, and lunges himself forward, every step must count. Going like clockwork, he aproaches the target, gets low, and swings his Deku Staff in a semi-circular pattern hoping to hit the Hakiem's legs and at least immobilize him for a while.

OOC: I'd like to let Cloud catch up and do his own attack, but that'd be too easy. Or would it...?
Regardless, these guys are nearly done. And I'm going to get back on track as quickly as I can.
IC:
As Tayro comes in for an attack, the Sheikah leaps into the air, dodging the staff with ease (3+6[Roll+AGI]). Had the Avenger's Strength not been invoked, he could not have escaped the blow, but as it was he had a perfect shot at the boy's back. With such excellent positioning - for the Hakiem - it is impossible to miss. The Bronze Sword slashes through Tayro's back (6+7[Roll+AGI*]), dealing 9 DMG.
While everyone else has been fighting, Grenada has been eyeing the fallen Hakiem. He sees something...on the man's belt...could it be...? It is! A bag of rupees!
Invoking the power of Enterprise, the Deku feels new strength flowing through him. Charging forward, he attempts to extract vengeance on Tayro's wound. With the Hakiem still airborne, he is as easy a target as the Hylian had been. Grenada's Sword slices through his neck (16+6 [Roll+AGI*]), removing the last 4 HP from the Hakiem, as well as his life.
With another Hakiem defeated, Avenger's Strength is invoked again in the last remaining Sheikah. That's the bad news. The good news is that, regardless of his strength, he still only has 4 HP left.
Hakiem 1: 4 HP, 9 SPL
Hakiem 2: eliminated
Hakiem 3: eliminated
Tayro: 2 HP
Grenada: 41 HP

Seeing Tayro hurt, Denning can tell he is in need of healing, and while part of him does want to try out resurection, he knows he should just heal him, and so he does.
