And yeah, I haven't looked at this topic for a very long time. Sorry guys. So I'll edit once I'm gone. Savvy ?

EDIT: Here it is, my friends! It is March 25, and the time has come at last!
IC: IC: Nogare stood before the rubble of Parapa Palace. He was breathing hard. Was it because of the sun? The average man would say aye, but so it was not. He limped, supporting himself on Belegcam, his trusted spear, which was as much a part of him as his arms and legs. He had lost count of how many suns had passed since he was eating cake with many people, and had that head-ache from the ale... such merry times may not be seen again...
I'm glad that that wasn't a mirage... he thought as he looked up upon the crushed structure. Well... I've finally made it; I've barely survived the sun, aside from everything else I've encountered... I may not even be here if it weren’t for the Gerudo. This fief must be conquered; it was both the king’s request and the thing I must do. I am fortunate that I was not sent alone.
He went under the shade of the structure to support get out of the sun. It wasn’t nearly as bad as Tantari, he knew well, for Tantari was the hottest desert in Hyrule West, but nevertheless it still a desert was no natural place for a Hylian such as him. There, he continued to breath hard. He looked up at Parapa palace… it was far less beautiful than it had been when he was younger. It was only a lifetime ago now that Parapa began to die down, and the king was slaughtered by the horsehead, and was transformed into a desert wasteland for reasons beyond chance. Then, it was a keep of bliss, and relative harmony; now, it was an eyesore of shameful rubble that brought not only the chill of living evil down the spine, but now its structure was different in the sense that the very marble of the building was evil. Despite the hot air of the desert Parapa, it was so cold that he could almost shiver.
After a moment’s time, the man rose to his feet. He scratched his prickly beard, and he reminded himself that he was to enter the castle as soon as he could, and thus entered, into the darkness that awaited…
The pillars that once existed in front, which normally were in front of every palace, were crumbled, and the ceiling had collapsed, which he knew had happened from Link placing the crystal back into the palace statue. He climbed atop the ruins, and made his way towards the stairway, which he prayed would still be intact. It was. He made a grim smile, and continued down. The stairway was a spiral. It went on and on. And before long, he was inside the depths of the castle.
When his feet connected with the floor of the first basement, he smiled. There was a wall in front of him, and a passage leaving left and right. It was very difficult to see, since the fires that once rose in the house were gone. For that reason, he took his lantern from off of his belt, and lit it. Light reflected off the white marble of the building. He knew where he was going, and took the left passage. Along this passage, more pillars were crumbled. Pushed some out of the way, and moved around some that he knew supported the roof still. Finally, he got to the other end of the maze of pillars.
And so he continued down the hallway. There was no existing life, from what he could tell. The passage went of for only a dozen or so minutes, until he at last reached a wall that sounded like there was life inside. He put his ear to the wall, to listen to what was going on. He identified the voices instantly; they were James, and Brin. That was enough to tell him that the rest of the group was with them. He found a door, and progressed into the room that they were in.
“Greetings, friends!” smiled he with a brief bow of his neck. “Late is the time, I understand. I had business with the Gerudo, I’m afraid, for their end may come more swiftly than a year’s time.” He spoke of that topic no more. “I shall accompany you all while we go on.”

OOC: I've been asked to come back, so here I am. (I hope I'm not the only one to come back.) This definitely takes the prize for longest event. Almost a year and a half and still not completed.
IC: As the cool breeze flows over and around him. Raven wakes up out of the daze he has been in. He can hardly remember what came before but the sight the he awakens to means that he doesn't wish to remember. He walks around the open area slowly, realising that despite appearences they still were in enemy territory and any wrong step could be a last one.
His feet draw him towards the lake, such a large pool of water in a desert climate is hard to ignore, and stands at the waters edge looking into it's depths. Should he take a drinks from such an inviting lake or should he not because it's in enemy lands? This is the question that confronts him.

It almost seemed as though he had stepped out of the previous room and into Hyrule's South Greens. The flowers, grass and calm wind were reminiscent of a warm spring day; such a sensation was certainly not a natural occurrence in Parapa Desert. Had the Palace aways been like this? Or was this room the creation of the Malvagios? Blank did not know. Or, perhaps it was the result of the mask that Alpha was carrying around. The entire concept of a season-changing piece of headgear confounded the grunt, so he decided to ignore it altogether, and just accept the rare climate as a godsend.
Blank watched as Raven shuffled closer to the lake - the Sheikah wasn't intending to drink from it, was he? While at first the idea seemed ignorant, Blank doubted the possibility of the water being tainted. He stepped towards the doused expanse and knelt down beside it, extracting from his tunic a hand-crafted leather canteen, which was more in the form of a flask than a legitimate container. Holding it to his ear, the Hylian shook the flask and confirmed that it was indeed empty. He uncapped it and set it in the lake, allowing it to fill before removing it and sealing it again. He placed the full canteen back into his tunic, turning around to face the others as he did so. "Can't hurt to bring a little water with us, can it?" he asked.

"I don't see how it could, Blank," Alpha replies absentmindedly as he gazes around the new room the group has found themselves in. An open area with grass, a lake, a fence . . . almost like a country pasture. He shakes his head in bewilderment; how is it possible for an area like this to exist inside a palace? Furthermore, how is it possible for an area like this to exist inside a palace in the desert? The entire concept seems really . . . 'odd', is the best word he can think of to complete that sentence right off the top of his head, though the Sheikah decides that there probably is a better way to describe it.
Trying to think of such a word, Alpha's hand subconsciously reaches up to stroke his chin, only to abruptly encounter the hardness of the mask he has donned for some time now. Yes, perhaps this magical season-altering mask is the source of what has happened here . . . or at least, some of it. The lake and wildlife it could explain, but what's with the fence?
With a shrug, the Sheikah attempts to recall what season he had last changed the region to. His hand scratching his head, he thinks back to events that seem to have taken place over a year ago (OOC: Literally). Yes . . . the last time he'd changed seasons, it had been to Spring, so that might explain how this place appears the way it does.
Well, regardless of what it is that has caused the room to take on its current form, and how pleasant the breeze probably feels to most people - Alpha, preferring warmth over cold, has already raised his hood back up and wrapped himself up in his warm cape - they don't need to be wasting time relaxing. The Sheikah lets his eyes scan the area, attempting to find some sort of doorway that they could use to continue onward. [ Awareness Check]

Through the desert Denning walked, trudging on in his old robe, all torn up and what not at its bottom.
"Boy am I glad I picked the staff. It makes this walking so much easier!"
Leaning on his staff he walked through the desert, shielding himself from the occasional sand storm, blasting his way through the wandering monster, and drinking his way through the random pub in a village.
Denning came up on the building, to a place he had said he would venture into with some others so long ago, and this time remembered such and quietly uttered a word, but lets not repeat that here...,
Denning ran through the dungeon looking everywhere for his friends and finnaly came up on them, seeing them he slowed down and caught his breath, then started forword again.
"Hello everyone! Looks like you all could use some help perhaps? If so, dont hesitate to ask for it! I would be glad to help you all out!"
Denning said this in a way that you could just tell he would not be leaving.

Dogura entered the room, and sheer bliss caressed all of his senses, even the ons that normally saw through illusions. "Paradise..." Dogura muttered, marveling at all the colors and serene beauty. It took him back... Back to a better place...
"C'mon, you can't catch me?" Dogura was sprinting backwards, as a young Rito, Darkin, was chasing him through a beautiful meadow. "I'll get you Dogura, just you wait!" Dogura stuck his tongue, and continued his backwards sprint. Suddenly, Darkin smiled, and slowed to a halt. Dogura cocked his head. "Giving up already hu-ACKPTH!"
Splash
Before the young samurai could realize what had happened, he had sprinted right into a small lake. Dogura swam to the surface, laughing, as more children caught up to the duo, splashing into the water as Dogura just had. Pure childhood happiness engulfed all involved.
Dogura seemed to awake from his trance, as he almost felt warm inside. They... they all betrayed me... I have only one friend in this great big land... I'm on my own here in the North... The samurai reminded himself, glancing cautiously at the strange group he had fallen into. What worried him most, was the giant that stood among to group. A large hooded man, who seemed to be a Sheikahn descent, and had a ragged scar that crossed his face. He didn't seem hostile, but he didn't seem overly friendly either. The truth was, they could have all been a threat, but it was always the tallest one that Dogura kept an eye on. He thought back to school-hood...
"C'mon, lets go, we're gonna be late for class!" Darkin pulled Dogura away from the door, where he was talking with a few girls. Darkin motioned for Dogura to follow, and wheeled around, slamming into a wall. Much to Darkin's surprise, he had not hit a wall, but rather a large student, about as tall as the two children combined! "Oh, sorry!" Darkin called out, getting back up, only to be grabbed by the throat. Darkin muttered a tiny cry, as the large brute pummeled Darkin against the wall. The young samurai covered his mouth in horror. He had not been put through many training sessions, and knew not how to defend a friend! Darkin was finally released, and fell to the floor in a fit of bruises. He had tears in his dark brown eyes, as he lay on the floor...
Somehow this had traumatized the Vagabond in such a way, that he trusted nobody much taller than he. Dogura's eyes shifted, as he had wanted to be on guard. But the aroma of the flowers, and the beautiful scene intoxicated him, and made it almost impossible to focus...
OOC: I joined this when I was first joining. Dogura does not know any of you, nor has he been on any missions. This is possibly his first time in North Hyrule, and he's trying to make a little extra coin. If you'll look back a few pages, you'll find some of my N00b-ish posts.

OOC: Okay, Blank bugged me into joining, so here I am. I would use Rose, but I’m assuming that Dogura has been in Hyrule for a long time before she came, and this would contradict that. Blank said it wouldn’t matter, but since when do I listen to him? Anywho, instead, I’ll be using my two lovely NPCs, the Veilmist sisters Firerova and Icerova. I never did set a general time for when they entered Hyrule. Of course, this will also contradict a few things, but hey, they’re not as major as having Rose here. =P
IC:
“Damn it, Haru!” the blue-haired Gerudo yelled. “We could’ve stopped them!”
“Hey, I didn’t expect her to appear,” replied the red-haired one, frowning. “And you could’ve said something.”
“Do you really expect me to interrupt our deity? And it’s not like she gave me any time to say anything.”
“Well, no use in complaining now. What’s done is done, right? That’s what you would say if you had said we were in a different time. Don’t deny it.” Firerova looked off into the distance. “Look, there’s a building of some sort up ahead. Someone’s bound to be in there, and they can tell us about place.”
The two twins walked up to the palace. “Hold on,” Icerova said as they came up to the entrance. “I have the feeling something happened here, but I don’t know what. We go in and take the way that looked like it was recently traveled. I go first. Follow my steps exactly.”
Firerova nodded, and the two Gerudos made their way through the palace. Eventually, they came upon a room filled with a few people. But they didn’t notice them at first; they were looking around in awe at the room. It reminded both of them of the small glimpse of Hyrule Field their mother had taken them to see when they were young. For two young women of the desert, such a display of colors was a rare and beautiful sight.
Finally, the two of them walked over to the group of people. “Greetings,” Icerova said. “My name is Sheena Veilmist, and this is my twin, Haru. Could any of you tell us what is going on here?”

Still weary from the last room and the song he'd played, Arco leans back for a moment against the wall--make that a fence!--just past the doorway they'd moved through. He takes his time and lets his eyes wander over the place, and over the others and what they're up to. Raven and Blank near the lake, and--Arco blinked appraisingly--Alpha was ever surveying the situation. Which seemed to remind the Bard of the task at hand...
Where are we?
As if startling himself from a static dream where he would be forever sitting on a fence watching human behavior, he took a quick almost dance-like step forward, his gaze taking on a more focused timbre. And like an aging falcon eying a fleeing rodent half a mile away, the gray colors in his eyes looked to begin to swirl and spiral as he looked on. There was the lake over there, but those two would be able to investigate, and the flowers over there...
The flowers... fenced in by the winds... just like us...
Turning slowly in a careful movement of pale gray, Arco drags his visual perception onto the fence behind him and then, at the same pace, places a hand on it. [Insight Check (spec. fence)]
OOC: I'm assuming that the fence runs around this "room," and connects to the door they just walked through?
By the way, HNS... usually it's okay to use alternate characters, but this Event actually uses stats and things, so I'm not sure if it'll work this time. On the other hand, if you've talked to someone already, just ignore me XD.

Nogare was surprised when more and more people came to the location. He couldn't understand why just now...
Maybe that will be explained in time...
He was silent for a minute or so, trying to solve that riddle, but he disregarded it eventually, knowing that there was a mission at hand.
While he thought to himself, he looked upon the great setting, astounded. This had to be an illusion. Was it?
[Awareness Check]
His eyes stared at the area, motionless. He did not bother to make conversation, for the checking of the area was more important than that.

*Cheesy Holding Music strikes up again*
Due to unforeseen circumstances this quest is on hold. While you wait you can read some of these anecdotes to pass the time until the quest starts again. Sorry, no riddles, as I have run out due to the book where I got them from was thrown out. Still I hope that these amuse:
A woman walked up to a little old man rocking in a chair on his porch. 'I couldn't help noticing how happy you look,' she said. 'What's your secret for a long happy life?'
'I smoke three packs of cigarettes a day,' he said. 'I eat fatty foods and never exercise.'
'That's amazing,' the woman said. 'How old are you?'
'Twenty-six' he said.
A young estate agent was pushing hard to sell an apartment to this old codger. After praising its numerous attractions, he ended his hard-sell with, 'Remember, Mr.Brown, this is an investment fro the future.'
'Listen, young man,' said Mr Brown wearily, 'at my time of life I don't even invest in green bananas.'
A couple of elderly men were sitting in the park chatting about days gone by, when a pretty young woman came into view and walked past. Seconds later a young man appeared, walking just a bit faster than the young woman, and gaining steadily on her. The first old man said, 'Do you remember when we used to chase pretty girls dow the street?' His friend hardly stirred and replied wearily, 'Yes I do remember how we used to chase them, but I can't for the life of me remember why.'
Mrs. Jacob Adler of the famous Yiddish theatre family decided to return to acting after a long interval. A reporter interviewing her asked, 'By the way, Mrs. Adler, how old are you?'
'I am sixty-one,' she said.
'How odd,' said the reporter. 'I interviewed your son Jack last week, and he told me he was fifty.'
Mrs. Adler shrugged: 'Oh well, he lives his life and I live mine.
