Part I: Mermen Listing

After you have aquired Din's Pearl from Dragon Roost Island, the King of the Red Lions finally lets you get back onto the open Sea. As you sail away to the south, as the King of the Red Lions instructed, one of the Mermen stops you for a little chat. He tells you, quite bluntly, that your Sea Chart is pathetic. After somehow taking out a brush and giving you the map of Dragon Roost Island, he tells you some information about it. He also tells you if you see any of his cousins out at sea and throw some All-Purpose Bait in the water, they will fill in that section of your Sea Chart and give you some information, as well. I must warn you that the information you recieve from the Mermen will vary; some of it is useful, and some of it makes you want to kill them. But be sure to listen anyways.

You can always give them more bait to hear it again, but it gets expensive, so use this guide instead.

Forsaken Fortress - A1
'Hoy, small fry! I hear there's a fellow on Windfall Island who's collecting Skull Necklaces! You know who it is, fry? I don't. Sorry. What I CAN tell you is that those piggish monsters you see here in the Forsaken Fortress seem to carry those Skull Necklaces around all the time. Not that I think it's easy work stealing anything from the likes of those guys. And that's all the info I've got to offer!

Star Island - A2
'Hoy, small fry! I hear that somewhere out in the wide world is a handy arrow that can freeze anything. With something like that, you could even freeze that nasty monster in the Forsaken Fortress...for a while, anyway. But then, what would you do with a frozen monster, you say? Good question, fry. Why, I'd say you give that thing a whack and watch it shatter into teeny-tiny pieces! And that's all the info I've got to offer!

Northern Fairy Island - A3
'Hoy, small fry! The little shop master on Windfall Island apparently got his hands on a truely amazing treasure. He calls it Magic Armor or something like that. It's a pretty cool magical relic, from what I've heard. If you want him to give it to you, try staring deep into his eyes and winning him over with flattery, fry! Ahhhh ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! And that's all the info I've got to offer!

Gale Isle - A4
'Hoy, small fry! Are you thinking you want to get into that cave, small fry? The one that's protected by the crazy winds on that island? Heh heh heh! OK, then. Let me just tell you a little secret...If you go five squares south and one square east from here, you'll reach Ice Ring Isle, where you'll find an item that will make you as heavy as stone! If you get that item, you won't have to worry about gettingt blown over by winds. And that's all the info I've got to offer!

Crescent Moon Island - A5
'Hoy, small fry! You've best be careful sailing these waters on nights when the moon is full. Well, if you like pure, soul-freezing horror, fry, then maybe you can handle it. And that's all the info I've got to offer!

Seven-Star Isles - A6
'Hoy, small fry! If you see seagulls flying all around some sea waters, that's a sign that you need to be wary, fry. Because the seagulls flock to wherever Big Octos appear...BIG OCTOS, I tell you! Those things don't mess around! And that's all the info I've got to offer!

Overlook Island - A7
'Hoy, small fry! Hey, small fry, do you know about the golden Triumph Forks? They're there, I tell you...On that island...The chart's there, is what I mean to say. But the cliff there rises sharply, and even if you wanted to climb it, there aren't any ledges or footing for you to grab on to. So? What are you going to do, small fry? And that's all the info I've got to offer!

Four-Eye Reef - B1
'Hoy, small fry! You've seen those weird rings of light that appear on the surface of the sea, haven't you, small fry? Did you know that some of those rings only appear at night? Didn't think so. And that's all the info I've got to offer!

Mother & Child Isles - B2 - Warp Point
'Hoy, small fry! They say that inside the ring of rock that makes up the perimeter of that island, there lives an incredibly beautiful fairy! But the thing is, nobody's ever met her. Supposedly, the only way you'll ever meet her is to take a ride on a whirlwind and drop inside that rock perimeter from the sky above. Doesn't sound easy, fry...And that's all the info I've got to offer!

Spectacle Isle - B3
'Hoy, small fry! Beware of the night when the crescent moon faces up! That's all I can tell you, small fry. And that's all the info I've got to offer!

Windfall Island - B4 - Warp Point
'Hoy, small fry! Out on the cape of this island is this crazy dancing fool who can't tell day from night! The guy's nuts...but you've got to respect someone who's not afraid to just let it all hang out like that, you know? I've been watching him, thinking I'd try to learn that dance and compete with him from out there in the ocean...But I just can't seem to swing with that crazy, funky rythm of his. That guy's incredible! And that's all the info I've got to offer!

Pawprint Isle - B5
'Hoy, small fry! Do you know what a ChuChu is, small fry? No, I'm not talking about the sound you make when you kiss someone! <3 <3 I'm talking about ChuChus! They're those slimy, monster-like puddles of goo that turn into blobs of jelly, stand up, and start jumping at you like crazy when you come near them. Well, in any case, there's lots of them on that island over there, so if you see any, I'd avoid them. They can get...nasty. Now that I think about it, every once in a while I see the potion brewer who lives on Windfall Island come here...Now why would he do that, fry? And that's all the info I've got to offer!

Dragon Roost Island - B6 - Warp Point
'Hoy, small fry! There's a real peculiar cave toward the backside of this here Dragon Roost Island. Yeah, real peculiar. But I doubt you'll ever see it, small fry - unless you manage to sprout wings and fly, that is...'Cause you won't be getting there otherwise! And that's all the info I've got to offer!

Flight Control Platform - B7
'Hoy, small fry! To the west of here, over on Dragon Roost Island, you'll see all kinds of rocks. Big ones, little ones...you get the picture. Anyway, they say that long ago, there used to be treasure hidden inside those things. Who knows? There may still be some left, so you should open your eyes and take a look around...from as high-up as the sun to as low-down as your toes! And that's all the info I've got to offer!

Western Fairy Island - C1
'Hoy, small fry! I hear the bird-people who live on Dragon Roost Island east of here have invented an incredibly useful device they call a Grappling Hook...No lie, fry! I hear you can throw that thing at monsters and use it to grab treasure they've hidden in their pockets. Talk about cool. Oh, and have you seen those imp-like creatures called Bokoblins that hang out on the lookout platforms at sea and stare through their telescopes? I hear those guys keep Joy Pendants hidden in their pockets, so if you can get one of those Grappling Hooks, you can use it to swipe their pendants! And that's all the info I've got to offer!

Rock Spire Isle - C2
'Hoy, small fry! I wonder how long it's been since the light in Windfall's lighthouse whent dark...It was quite a sight, I tell you, the way that ray of light shone out like a shaft of gold through the cold darkness. I used to gaze at it with dear Gillian...Anyway, I bet if someone could shoot a powerful spark into the top of that lighthouse, it would light up again! Of course, that's just my intuition talking...Then again, you should never doubt a fish's intuition, small fry! And that's all the info I've got to offer!

Tingle Island - C3 - Warp Point
'Hoy, small fry! Let me tell you a little something about that island over there, small fry...The guy who lives there is names Tingle, but he won't grow up and act his age. He still dresses like a little kid. That...is not normal. Still, from what I hear, he can decipher maps like nobody's business! It just goes to show you that you can't judge a person on appearance alone, fry! Of course, the thing about this Tingle guy is that when it comes time to pay his deciphering fee, you'd better be ready to fork over some serious dough. Anyone who doesn't have a deep wallet won't be reading any maps, that's for sure. And that's all the info I've got to offer!

Northern Triangle Island - C4
'Hoy, small fry! Let me tell you something, small fry...The school on that Windfall Island has one gorgeous teacher! But the thing is, this gang of four little hoodlums is always causing trouble for her. Those little delinquents like to cause all sorts of trouble. They go climbing trees and hiding behind buildings instead of going to school...What a bunch of savages. Somebody's got to scold those scoundrels and set them straight for the sake of that poor teacher! You hear me, fry? And that's all the info I've got to offer!

Eastern Fairy Island - C5
'Hoy, small fry! Word is, the hold an auction every night over there on Windfall Island. Every night the people gather in the Hall of Wealth to amuse themselves by spending a little money. From what I hear, they get some great things up on that auction block, too...like heart-shaped stuff, among other things. Maybe that's just a rumor. You should try it out, small fry! If you want to get inside, you ought to go find the island that's one square north and four squares west of here. That's where the power to freeze anything is hidden...Or so they say. I tell you, one of these days that thing is going to get hauled off by a thief! Mark my words, fry! Of course, if I were to find a thief in the act of thieving, I'd stop the perpetrator right there and catch the rat red-handed! I'm sure if I did, the owner of that shop would thank me. If you want to learn more about the Triumph Forks, talk to that guy, Tingle! That's what the fish fortune told me! Now, I know I may only be a fish, but my fortune-telling is uncannily accurate! You'd better believe it, small fry! And that's all the info I've got to offer!

He tells you that he's one of the members of the Joyous Volunteer group, but sadly, he hasn't done a thing. It's now up to you to buy 14 items from Zunari's shop and place them in the metal holders scattered throughout Windfall Island. {This doesn't count the ones inside} Talk to Sam again, and he'll give you a Piece of Heart.
PIGGY-SITTING - The entrance "fee" for this minigame is quite simple: give Dampa {the sailor standing between the bomb shop and the dock} 3 Skull Necklaces. He is so pleased that he'll let you play a game: Piggy-Sitting. All you have to do is bring his three pigs to him in less than two minutes. They are located by the weird man dancing in front of the grave, by the two girls picking flowers, and along that same shoreline. Each time you win, Dampa will reward you with a Purple Rupee.
SCHOOL OF JOY - just as the Killer Bees said, Mrs. Marie, the teacher at the School of Joy, loves Joy Pendants. If you give her one of them, she gives you a Red Rupee. For 20, she will give you the Cabana Deed, which lets you enter the cabana on the Private Oasis. Give her another 20, and she gives you the Hero's Charm, which lets you see the life of any enemy you're fighting by L-Targeting them.
SONG OF PASSING - On the cliff by the entrance to the Island Jail, you will see a creepy guy named Tott dancing in front of a grave. Take out your Wind Waker, and Tott will suddenly get a burst of inspiration. Copy his movements {right, left, down}, and you have learned the Song of Passing, which changes day to night or vice versa.
SQUID-HUNT MINIGAME - You can find this game on the first floor of the ferris wheel building, across from Lenzo's shop, run by Salvatore. To put it simply, it's a game of battleship, except with squids. You will get 24 bombs with which to hit three squids. The three squids are 2, 3, and 4 squares long. Basically, this is a game of pure luck. Thankfully, it only costs 10 Rupees to play. The first time you win, Salvatore gives you a Piece of Heart. The second time you win, he gives you Treasure Chart 7. If you beat the record of 20 bombs, he gives you Treasure Chart 23. After that, your prizes are a Purple Rupee for winning and an Orange Rupee for setting a new record.
TREASURE CHART 2 - After delivering Maggie's letter and getting her Piece of Heart, talk to her father. He tells you that he loves Skull Necklaces. Give him 20, and he presents you wil Treasure Chart 2.
TREASURE CHART 24 - After getting Treasure Chart 29, look between the chests for a crawlspace. You will emerge from an exit hidden behind a picture frame above the bottom of the stairs. Drop down, and you'll see Lenzo talking with Minenco by his counter. Get a good Color Pictograph, and leave. Show the Pictograph to Pompie and Vera, the two gossiping women, and they'll hand over Treasure Chart 24 as a reward.
TREASURE CHART 29 - If you look through a screen in Lenzo's gallery on the second floor, you'll see a room with two treasure chests. Climb the wooden railing on the steps leading to the upper floor of the Hall of Wealth. Set the wind to the northwest and glide to the balcony of Lenzo's shop and enter the door. The two chests contain a Purple Rupee and Treasure Chart 29.
TREASURE CHART 31 - If you talk to Kamo, the man sitting on the steps near the Hall of Wealth, with some prodding, he'll tell you that he's very depressed. He says that if you take a picture of his favorite thing {the full moon}, he'll admit that you understand him. Use the Song of Passing until a full moon is in the sky and get a good Color Pictograph of it from the wall, where Kamo sits at night. Show the Pictograph to Kamo and he will give you Treasure Chart 31.
TREASURE CHART 33 - Minenco, the woman standing outside the Potion Shop, was the winner of the Miss Windfall beauty contest 40 years ago. She's still convinced, though, that she's the most beautiful girl on Windfall. Take a good Color Pictograph of her and show it to her. She'll be so flattered that she gives you Treasure Chart 33.
WINDFALL AUCTION - These nightly auctions are held in the first floor of the Hall of Wealth, run by Zunari. Make sure you have a good amount of Rupees before joining in. Zunari will explain how it works if you ask, but it's quite simple: the auction lasts only 1 minute, but the timer will stop whenever someone makes a bid. Press A repeatedly to fill up your bid meter in order to make a bid. There's math to it, but if you just bid a high number, everyone will be so shocked that they can't bid until they snap out of it. The most valuable items up for auction are a Piece of Heart, and Treasure Charts 18 and 38. If the item up for sale doesn't catch your fancy, just press B to leave.
WINDFALL JAIL - Near the gravestone where Tott is dancing, you will see the door that leads to the Windfall Jail. When you come inside, our dear creepy Tingle will notice you and plead with you to free him. Look to the left as you enter, and behind a few pots you will find a switch. Step on it and the cell door springs open. Tingle gives you the Tingle Tuner and Tingle's Chart, then runs away. Unfortunately, you'll be seeing him again... *shudder*
WINDFALL LIGHTHOUSE - The Windfall Lighthouse is a valuable structure, it will get you two Pieces of Heart. You have to wait, however, until you've gotten the Fire and Ice Arrows. After you get them, go over to the door to the lighthouse by the School of Joy, but don't go in. Instead, go on the ledge on the left side of the lighthouse leading around it. Climb the ladder in the alcove located on the lighthouse's north side. Once on top, step on the switch and play the Wind's Requiem {while still on the switch} and set the wind to the northwest. Go into the building where Salvatore runs the Squid-Hunt Minigame, and go up the stairs on your right. Once outside, talk to Kreeb, the man standing on the balcony. He's so happy to see the windmill running again that he gives you a Piece of Heart.
Once it's nighttime {use the Song of Passing if you'd like}, continue along the balcony and jump into one of the ferris wheel cars as it moves toward you. As you mobve to the top, shoot a Fire Arrow at the yellow rotating bell. If you hit it in the middle, the lighthouse will light up, and a treasure chest off of the southwestern coast appears. The chest contains another Piece of Heart.
ZUNARI'S TRADING QUEST - After you beat the Forsaken Fortress, go talk to Zunari at his shop. He asks you to help him by trading with some Wandering Merchants across the Great Sea to help his business. He gives you the Town Flower and sends you off. You can find these Wandering Merchants on Greatfish Isle, Mother and Child Isles, and Bomb Island. After trading three items, you can return to Zunari and recieve the Magic Armor, and continue if you would like.

B5 - Pawprint Isle
For such a small island {in the shape of a pawprint, of course}, there are quite a few things to do here, so don't pass it up.
POINTS OF INTEREST
BEEDLES SHOP SHIP - can be found circling the island
PIECE OF HEART #1 - cut the grass around the very odd dome on the largest isle and you'll find a small opening. Crawl through it and drop down the hole to find yourself in a Secret Cave. Fight your way across two rooms filled with Red ChuChus and you'll find a Treasure Chest with a Piece of Heart.
PIECE OF HEART #2 - from Treasure Chart 30
SEA PLATFORM - can be found to the northeast of the island
SILVER RUPEE - On one of the pawprint's "toes", you will notice a very odd tree. Hookshot up there, and drop into the island's second Secret Cave. Here you will have to fight a total of 6 Summoning Wizzrobes; 1, 2, and 3 at a time. After beating all of them, a chest containing a Silver Rupee will appear.

B6 - Dragon Roost Island - Warp Point
On top of the volcano in the center of Dragon Roost Island is the sky spirit Valoo. Dragon Roost Island is the home of the Rito, and also your first dungeon of the game.
POINTS OF INTEREST
BEEDLE'S SHOP SHIP - can be found circling the island
EMPTY BOTTLE - Once you help Medli fly to the entrance of Dragon Roost Cavern, she *somehow* gives you an Empty Bottle for your troubles.
GRAPPLING HOOK - After you defeat the two Moblins on top of Dragon Roost and free Medli, she gives you the Grappling Hook to help you on your quest.
PIECE OF HEART #1/MAIL SORTING MINIGAME - On the upper level of Dragon Roost Island's interior, you will find Koboli {and later Baito} sorting mail. If you talk to Koboli, he will offer you the opportunity to help. Your challenge is to sort 10+ letters in 30 seconds. If you meet that goal, he will give you 1 Rupee per letter. The next time he will ask you to sort 20+ letters; you will be payed 2 Rupees per letter. The third time, Koboli gives you a real challenge: sort at least 25 letters in 30 seconds. If you do, he'll pay you 3 Rupees per letter. You'll need a lot of practice and a bit of luck for this. After you win, exit and reenter Dragon Roost Island's interior. You'll find Baito working in Koboli's place. His request is that you show him your 25-letter sort for "inspiration". Once you do, he'll ask you to mail a letter to his mom. In a few days you'll get two letters - one from Baito and one from his mom. Baito's gift is a Red Rupee; his mom gives you a Piece of Heart.
PIECE OF HEART #2 - Right outside the entrance to the Rito chieftain's room is a Rito guard named Hoskit. If you talk to him, he will tell you about his recent dilemma: he promised his girlfriend 20 Golden Feathers, but he doesn't have them. You can get them from the Kargaroc around Dragon Roost Island, and elsewhere across the Great Sea. Once you have at least 20, show them to Hoskit and he'll give you an Orange Rupee as a reward. The next day you'll find a letter from his girlfriend, along with a Piece of Heart.
ORANGE RUPEE - Enter the aerie of Dragon Roost Island, then exit through the door by the Mail Center. Look to the northeast and find the short spire between the taller ones. Set the wind to the northeast and glide to the spire. You can refill your magic meter by chopping the grass on the spire. Glide north to the next spire, and then west. Enter the cave to find the chest containing the Orange Rupee.
PURPLE RUPEE - On the beach near the Wind Shrine off of Dragon Roost Island you will see a large cracked boulder. Bomb it or throw it to reveal a Secret Cave entrance. After beating 4 rooms with various enemies, a fifth room will be unlocked, with a Purple Rupee inside.
SILVER RUPEE #1 - from Treasure Chart 39
SILVER RUPEE #2 - If you look on the cliffside of Dragon Roost Island, above the path with all the Bomb Flowers, you will see a row of Bomb Flowers leading up to a large boulder. Shoot the first Bomb Flower with your Bow to trigger a chain reaction, which will break the boulder. This will cause a chest to drop down to the ground, containing a Silver Rupee.
WIND'S REQUIEM - If you head to the southern coast of Dragon Roost Island, you will see a small shrine just a bit off the shore. Swim over there and you will find two blue stones; one whole, and one proken. Get out your Wind Waker in front of the unbroken stone, and the wind god Zephos will come teach you the Wind's Requiem, which allows you to change the direction of the wind.
WIND WAKER - After you land on the shore of Dragon Roost Island and prepare to head for the aerie, the King of the Red Lions stops you. He gives a little speech, then gives you the Wind Waker and teaches you how to use it.

B7 - Flight Control Platform
The Flight Control Platform can only be described as...well...a platform. It is home to the Bird-Man Contest, held by two Rito impersonators, Obli and Willi. The contest is basically to see how far you can fly before hitting the water.
POINTS OF INTEREST
BIRD-MAN CONTEST - As I mentioned, the Bird-Man Contest is held by the brothers Obli and Willi. Your challenge is to beat Willi's record to win the prize: a Piece of Heart. I'm not exactly sure what the distance is, but it's close to 257 yards. Every other time you beat your record, you get a Purple Rupee. The entrance fee is 10 Rupees, which you pay to Obli in order to climb up to the top of the platform. Do not attempt this minigame until you have your Magic Meter upgrade. You will need your Deku Leaf, as well {obviously}. Try to run into the whirwinds as you glide: they give you a height boost.
ISLAND HEARTS CHART - from Treasure Chart 19
SUBMARINE - can be found to the southeast of the Flight Control Platform

C1 - Western Fairy Island
Western Fairy Island is in the shape of a heart, and home to one of the Great Fairies. You will need the Skull Hammer in order to reach her fountain.
POINTS OF INTEREST
ARROW UPGRADE - Use your Skull Hammer to pound the stake in front of the conch shell...thing...and drop into the Fairy Fountain. The Great Fairy will grant you the ability to carry more arrows.
SEA PLATFORM - can be found to the southeast of the island
SILVER RUPEE - from Treasure Chart 8

C2 - Rock Spire Isle
Rock Spire Isle is a very narrow small island with a few cracked boulders resting on the platforms of the island. The "special" Beedle's Shop Ship can be located here.
POINTS OF INTEREST
BEEDLES SHOP SHIP - can be found circling the island, but there's a few changes. Instead of his standard items, Beedle is wearing a weird helmet and selling exclusive items: an Empty Bottle for 500 Rupees, a Piece of Heart for 950 Rupees, and Treasure Chart 4 for 900 Rupees. Expensive, isn't it? Once you've sold him out, Beedle will be selling 30 Bombs, 30 Arrows, and Red Potion; all for 30 Rupees each.
PIECE OF HEART #1 - Locate the two Cannon Boats southwest of Rock Spire Isle. Once you sink them, they leave light rings behind. You can get an Orange Rupee and a Piece of Heart from these light rings.
PIECE OF HEART #2 - from Treasure Chart 2
SEA PLATFORM - Look to the southeast of the isle and you will see a trio of Sea Platforms. Destroy the cannons on two of the platforms to make two treasure chests appear. Climp up to the middle platform to get the chest there, and use your Deku Leaf to glide over to the other two platforms.
TREASURE CHART 37 - To reach Rock Spire Isle's Secret Cave, you will need to destroy the large boulders on top of the spires. Instead of relying on timing and wasting Bombs, shoot the boulders from your Cannon. Once you're inside the Secret Cave, break the pot holding the Deku Sticks and use them to light the two torches. Kill the Keese that attack you to make the treasure chest appear.

C3 - Tingle Island
Tingle's island is shaped like a baseball diamond, and there really isn't much of anything to do here. The only reason you have to come here is to get your Triforce Charts decifered by the creepy wanna-be fairy Tingle...for a price, of course. It will cost you 398 Rupees to get each chart deciphered.
POINTS OF INTEREST
BIG OCTO - Look for the 12-eyed Big Octo by locating the ring of circling seagulls. After you defeat it, a light ring will appear, which produces a Piece of Heart.
SILVER RUPEE - from Treasure Chart 10

C4 - Northern Triangle Island
There is absolutely no reason to visit this triangle-shaped island {whod've thunk?} besides to place on of your Pearls in the hands of the glowing statue.
POINTS OF INTEREST
FULL MOON LIGHT RINGS - Under the full moon, four light rings will appear around the island. Each ring hides a Red Rupee.
BIG OCTO CHART - from Treasure Chart 26

C5 - Eastern Fairy Island
Continuing the pattern, there are only a few highlights on this island besides the Fairy Fountain.
POINTS OF INTEREST - If you blast apart the boards blocking the conch-shell sturcure, you can drop into the Fairy Fountain. The Great Fairy who lives there will grant you the ability to carry more bombs.
SEA PLATFORM - Look to the west to locate the lone Sea Platform off of Eastern Fairy Island. You'll get a reward for beating the enemies there.
SILVER RUPEE - from Treasure Chart 3
WITHERED DEKU TREE - appears after beating the Forbidden Woods.

C6 - Fire Mountain
Fire Mountain is a huge volcanoe that fills the water around it with boiling water and shoots lava from its center. You'll need to gain access to the mountain to claim the Power Bracelets.
POINTS OF INTEREST
BIG OCTO - Look for the circling seagulls that mark a Big Octo's presence. After you kill the 8-eyed monster, a light ring appears, hiding an Orange Rupee.
POWER BRACELETS - Take out your Bow and shoot the lava shooting from the mountain's center with an Ice Arrow. This will thaw the mountain, and a 5-minute countdown begins. You will have to reach the Power Bracelets before the 5 minutes run out, or you'll be burned to death {not literally...}. Climb all the way up the mountain's side and enter the Secret Cave. Jump across the pit of lava, defeating Keese and Magtails as you go. Once you open the chest containing the Power Bracelts, the countdown will stop.
SEA PLATFORM - To the east of Fire Mountain, you can find a single Sea Platform. Destroy the cannons to make a treasure chest appear. Climb to the top and defeat all the enemies to make a second chest appear.
SILVER RUPEE - from Treasure Chart 37

C7 - Star Belt Archipelago
When looked at from above, this formation of tall rocks resembles the constellation Orion. You can't do anything on the rocks making up the islands; there's a few things to do nearby, instead.
POINTS OF INTEREST
FULL MOON LIGHT RINGS - Under the full moon, several light rings will appear. They hide Red and Purple Rupees. GHOST SHIP - will appear near the island under the right half moon.
SEA PLATFORM - Looking to the east, you will see a single Sea Platform. You don't have to do anything to get this treasure, but you can destroy the cannons to make life easier if you really want to.
SILVER RUPEE - from Treasure Chart 27

D1 - Three-Eye Reef
The only thing to do here is to destroy the Cannon Boats and wall cannons to make a treasure chest appear.
POINTS OF INTEREST
PIECE OF HEART - from Treasure Chart 38
TREASURE CHART 32 - The treasure chest containing this chart appears after you clear out the reef.

D2 - Greatfish Isle - Warp Point
Greatfish Isle was once the home of the water spirit, Jabun. Now, however, the island is torn apart as a result of Ganondorf's curse.
POINTS OF INTEREST
BEEDLE'S SHOP SHIP - can be found circling the island
FULL MOON LIGHT RINGS - Under a full moon, four light rings hiding Red Rupees will appear around the island. GHOST SHIP - appears under a right gibbous moon
PIECE OF HEART - If you look around the center island, you should see a small cliff alcove. It's on the right cliff off the center island's sandy...trail thing. Set the wind to the northwest and glide over to it.
TRIFORCE SHARD - from Triforce Chart 1
TRAVELLING MERCHANT - You can find this Goron merchant on a raft off of the center island.
WITHERED DEKU TREE - appears after you beat the Forbidden Woods. You can find it on top of the spiral isle off of the main island.

Do I really have to tell you what to do here? Defeat the wall cannons and cannon boats to make the obligitory treasure chest appear.
POINTS OF INTEREST
LIGHT RING CHART - from Treasure Chart 21
SEA PLATFORM - Looking to the northeast of Cyclops Reef, you will see a single Sea Platform.
TREASURE CHART 21 - appears after you clear out the reef.

D4 - Six-Eye Reef
It's just like all the other reefs; however, Six-Eye Reef is a great deal more crowded than the rest, due to its six "eyes".
POINTS OF INTEREST
SEA PLATFORM - By destroying the cannons on the lone Sea Platform to the south of Six-Eye Reef, the typical treasure chest will appear.
SILVER RUPEE - from Treasure Chart 6
SUBMARINE - Inside the submarine to the southwest of Six-Eye Reef is a Piece of Heart. It's one of the easier Submarines: all you have to do is defeat three Moblins.
TREASURE CHART 26 - After you complete the tedious task of clearing out the over-populated Six-Eye Reef, the treasure chest containing Treasure Chart 26 will appear.

D5 - Tower of the Gods
Once you place all three pearls in the hands of the statues located on the "triangle" islands, the Tower of the Gods will appear from under the sea. It is here that your courage will be tested by the tower's gaurdian Gohdan.
POINTS OF INTEREST
BEEDLES SHOP SHIP - can be found circling the exterior of the tower.
COMMAND MELODY - This song allows you to control various objects, which will be essential later in the game.
HERO'S BOW - After defeating the Tower's miniboss, a Darknut, you will recieve the Hero's Bow.
MASTER SWORD - After you defeat Gohdan, a portal will appear that transports you to Old Hyrule, below the sea. It is here that Link recieves the Master Sword, also known as the "blade of evil's bane".
SILVER RUPEE - from Treasure Chart 14

D6 - Eastern Triangle Island
Besides the statue you need to place one of the three pearls in, there isn't all that much to do in this "triangle" island. However, you can find the Salvage Corp. circling the island.
POINTS OF INTEREST
BEEDLE'S SHOP SHIP - can be found circling the island.
SALVAGE CORP. - If you sail up to the strange boat belonging to the Salvago Corp. and talk to the leader, he will engage you in a long conversation that eventually leads to you getting Treasure Chart 34.
SILVER RUPEE - from Treasure Chart 34

D7 - Thorned Fairy Island
Instead of being named for a direction, since all of them are taken, Thorned Fairy Island gets its name from the thorns adorning the conch shell at the center of the island.
POINTS OF INTEREST
ARROW UPGRADE - Use your Skull hammer to pound the spikey pillars that block the entrance to the Fairy Fountain. The Great Fairy who lives there will grant you the ability to carry more Arrows.
PIECE OF HEART - from Treasure Chart 5
SEA PLATFORM - North of Thorned Fairy Island you will see a pair of Sea Platforms. Destroy the cannons on one of the Platforms to make a chest appear. Climb up that platform to retrieve the reward, then use your Deku Leaf to glide to the second Platform. Defeat the enemies there to make a second chest appear.

E1 - Needle Rock Isle
From above, Needle Rock Isle looks remotely like a magnifying glass. However, its name comes from the spire that rises from the main part of the island.
POINTS OF INTEREST
ORANGE RUPEE - Locate the chunk of ice on the northwest side of the island and use a Fire Arrow to melt it. Drop into the Secret Cave and you'll find yourself in the middle of several wrecked ships. The pots all around you contain refills of arrows and magic. You will need to use your Fire Arrows to light the six torches positioned around the cave. Once you do, a chest containing an Orange Rupee will appear. The torches are located:

  1. Right in front of you when you enter
  2. Behind the railing you face when you enter
  3. Behind a railing way up high, above the net
  4. On top of the wrecked ship to your left when you enter
  5. Towards the front of the wrecked ship to your right when you enter
  6. Way, way, way up high to your far left on the top of one of the ships. Use your Telescope to spot it.
PIECE OF HEART - Near the Withered Deku Tree you will see a treasure chest surrounded by flames. Run towards the ring of land to make the nearest Kargaroc attack you. Defeat it, then head to the southern end of the island. Use a Hyoi Pear to control one of the seagulls. Keep it over you as you get level to the switch. Then head straight for the switch, hopefully avoiding the Kargarocs along the way. After the seagull hits the switch, the flames around the treasure chest will dissappear.
SILVER RUPEE - from Treasure Chart 28
WITHERED DEKU TREE - appears on the island after beating the Forbidden Woods.

E2 - Islet of Steel
This is without a doubt the strangest island in the Great Sea. The building is made entirely out of steel, hollow, and has a grassy hill on top of it. The entrance to the steel structure is guarded by three Cannon Boats and some wall-mounted cannons. The only way to get up to the hill is to control a seagull with a Hyoi Pear.
POINTS OF INTEREST
SEA PLATFORM - To the south of the Islet of Steel is a single Sea Platform. It is guarded by several enemies - the most annoying being two Wizzrobe Acolytes. A chest will appear after defeating all of them.
SILVER RUPEE - from Treasure Chart 35
TRIFORCE CHART 1 - The Triforce Chart can be found inside the hollow stell structure. Destroy the Cannon Boat blocking the entrance {and the others, if you feel like it} and play the Wind's Requiem on the Wind Crest to get the Chart.

E3 - Stone Watcher Island
Stone Watcher Island is a simple circular island named for the big stone head dominating the center of the top area.
POINTS OF INTEREST
SEA PLATFORM - The Sea Platform southeast of the island is armed with 8 cannons. After defeating them {and wasting a whole lot of Bombs, probably}, a treasure chest containing a well-deserved reward appears.
TRIFORCE CHART 7 - Lift the stone head that gives the island its name to reveal the entrance to Stone Watcher Island's Secret Cave. Enter each of the four rooms and defeat the enemies inside to gain access to the final room. Defeat the two Darknuts to unlock the door with the treasure chest containing Triforce Chart 7.
TRIFORCE SHARD - from Triforce Chart 3

E4 - Southern Triangle Island
Here, as with all the triangle islands, is the statue where you place one of your three pearls. Other than that, it's a pretty boring place.
POINTS OF INTEREST
BEEDLE'S SHOP SHIP - can be found circling the island
TRIFORCE SHARD - from Triforce Chart 6

E5 - Private Oasis
This nice little island is home to the cabanna, owned by Mrs. Marie of Windfall Island. You can't get inside until you get the Cabanna Deed, so you won't be coming here for the first part of the game. Once you get the deed, however, the Oasis becomes yours and you can enter the cabanna.
POINTS OF INTEREST
BIG OCTO - The 8-eyed monster inhabits the waters around the Private Oasis. Look for the circling seagulls to pinpoint its location as always.
SILVER RUPEE - from Treasure Chart 1
SLIDING PUZZLE MINIGAME - After you have gained entrance to the cabanna, you will see a sliding puzzle game on one of the walls {the picture on the opposite wall shows you the finished puzzle}. The door-butler will instruct you on how to play the game, but it's like the real-life sliding puzzles. Winning the first 15 puzzles earns you 50 Rupees each; the 16th puzzle has a 200 Rupee prize.
TREASURE CHART 27 - After you have the Hookshot, use it to get up to the raised part of the island where the waterfall begins. Open the chest there to get Treasure Chart 27.
TRIFORCE CHART 2 - Take out your Hookshot inside the cabanna and use it to swing from the post on the ceiling. This opens a secret passage via the fireplace. Drop down below to get Triforce Chart 2.
WITHERED DEKU TREE - appears after beating the Forbidden Woods.

E6 - Bomb Island
As per many of the islands in the Great Sea, Bomb Island is named after its shape. Yes, you guessed it: a bomb. Funny how that works, isn't it?
POINTS OF INTEREST
GHOST SHIP - Under the left half moon, the Ghost Ship can be found off the coast of Bomb Island.
PIECE OF HEART #1 - from Treasure Chart 20
PIECE OF HEART #2 - As you may have guessed, there is indeed something to do on Bomb Island that's related to bombs. {go figure!} On the main part of the island is a big cracked boulder. Bomb it, and you'll uncover the entrance to a Secret Cave. The treasure hidden in this cave is another Piece of Heart.
SEA PLATFORM - The single Sea Platform can be found southwest of Bomb Island. Defeat the enemies to make the obligitory treasure chest appear.
SUBMARINE - Find Old Man Ho-Ho and follow his gaze to see a Submarine. Sail over there and enter. A few Bokoblins and some rats are all you have to worry about here. After defeating the Bokoblins, a treasure chest containing an Empty Bottle will appear.
WANDERING MERCHANT - One of the three Wandering Merchants can be found here on Bomb Island.

E7 - Bird's Peak Rock
Bird's Peak Rock consists of a small island and six spires rising from another bigger island. The area is populated heavily with Kargarocs and seagulls.
POINTS OF INTEREST
SILVER RUPEE - from Treasure Chart 36
TRIFORCE CHART 3 - To reach the Secret Cave hiding the third Triforce Chart, you will need to trigger the 6 switches atop of each spire. To make life easier, kill the four Kargarocs on the smaller spires. Use a Hyoi Pear to control a seagull and hit the 5 lower switches. Fly back towards you and climb to the same height as the highest rock. Dodge the Kargaroc and hit the sixth switch. Once you do this, the gate blocking the Secret Cave is opened, and you can claim Triforce Chart 3.

F1 - Diamond Steppe Island
Predictably, Diamond Steppe Island is in the shape of a diamond, and has several "steps" leading to the top of the island. You'll need the Hookshot before you can get anywhere here.
POINTS OF INTEREST
BIG OCTO - Look for the circling seagulls to locate the 8-eyed Big Octo. Once you defeat it, a ring of light hiding an Orange Rupee is left behind.
GHOST SHIP - Under a left gibbous moon, the Ghost Ship will appear off of Diamond Steppe Island.
GHOST SHIP CHART - Use your Hookshot to climb the island's "steps" by targeting each tree. Drop into the Secret Cave at the top of the island to recieve the Ghost Ship Chart. With this chart, you will be able to tell where the Ghost Ship will be under each phase of the moon, and you will finally be able to enter it.
PIECE OF HEART - from Treasure Chart 23

F2 - Five-Eye Reef
As with all the reefs, clear out the wall-mounted cannons for a prize. Strangely enough, there are no Cannon Boats to deal with this time.
POINTS OF INTEREST
SEA PLATFORM - The lone Sea Platform off of Five-Eye Reef has an interesting reward: a Golden Feather. If you've already given your 20 to Hoskit, you can sell it to Beedle.
SILVER RUPEE - from Treasure Chart 12
TREASURE CHART 41 - appears after you clear out the reef

F3 - Shark Island
Continuing the pattern, Shark Island looks exactly like a shark. There are actually several things to do here, so don't pass it by.
POINTS OF INTEREST
SILVER RUPEE #1 - from Treasure Chart 16
SILVER RUPEE #2 - The Secret Cave on Shark Island, which contains a Silver Rupee, is blocked by a ring of fire. To get past it, you'll have to hit all 4 switches scattered on the island. To start, I would recommend cutting down all the small trees. You'll have to hit the switches quickly, so you'll need room to run. Head to the "tail" of the island to hit the first switch by using your Iron Boots. Draw your sword as you run down the "tail" and hit the crystal switch there. Turn and run towards the "head" and step on the pressure switch. Get out your Skull Hammer and jump to the other "fin" and pound down the stake - which is the fourth switch. Drop down into the Secret Cave and prepare to fight! To get the Silver Rupee, you will face waves of Miniblin, Bokoblin, Moblins, Darknuts, and Wizzrobes. Once you defeat all of them, your well-deserved Silver Rupee will appear.
WITHERED DEKU TREE - appears after beating the Forbidden Woods

F4 - Southern Fairy Island
Just like all the other fairy islands, you can find the home of one of the Great Fairies here.
POINTS OF INTEREST
BOMB BAG UPGRADE - Use a Bomb to clear the entrance to the Fairy Fountain. The Great Fairy who lives there will grant you the ability to carry more bombs.
PIECE OF HEART - from Treasure Chart 4
SEA PLATFORM - The trio of Sea Platforms can be found to the southeast of Southern Fairy Island. Destroy cannons and enemies to earn your prizes.

F5 - Ice Ring Isle
This frozen island is the home of another one of the game's essential items. To even set foot on the island without being frozen solid, you will have to shoot a Fire Arrow at the icy air shooting from the center of the island.
POINTS OF INTEREST
IRON BOOTS - Sail to the northwest side of the island before thawing the island with a Fire Arrow. Be careful not to run too fast; the surface of the island is still very slippery. Navigate the island until you reach the floating icebergs and jump on for a ride. Once you reach the third iceberg, jump into the dragon's mouth and drop down into the Secret Cave. You'll need to slide down the narrow...slide...to reach a platform. Climb to the next slide and slide down again. Open the treasure chest to get the Iron Boots.
ORANGE RUPEE - After you get the Iron Boots, look for a ledge between the chest and the light beam. Put on the Iron Boots so you don't get blown away and walk toward the wind into the second Secret Cave. The enemies in this cave are frozen in blocks of ice; melt them one at a time with your Fire Arrows. After they are defeated, a chest containing an Orange Rupee will appear.
SILVER RUPEE - from Treasure Chart 17
TREASURE CHART 36 - Once you've gotten the Iron Boots and reemerged onto Ice Ring Isle, look around the perimeter for a chest frozen in a block of ice {there is a Yellow Rupee, too}. Thaw it with a Fire Arrow to open the chest containing Treasure Chart 36.

F6 - Forest Haven
This massive island is home to the Great Deku Tree and the Korok tribe. It is here that you will face your second dungeon: the Forbidden Woods. There are also many other things to do here, so you'll be coming back often.
POINTS OF INTEREST
BEEDLE'S SHOP SHIP - can be found circling the island
BOOMERANG - After defeating the miniboss of the Forbidden Woods your prize will appear: the Boomerang! This wonderful weapon can hit up to five targets at once and makes life so much easier. Treasure it dearly.
DEKU LEAF - After you get rid of the ChuChus infesting the Great Deku Tree, he gives you a special leaf to help you fly. The only problem is, it's located way up high in his branches. Use the Boko Buds surrounding him and your Grappling Hook to reach it. Remember to line yourself up carefully: it's a long fall!
FOREST FIREFLY - Once you have completed Lenzo's Pictograph Quest, he instructs you to bring him a Forest Firefly in order to convert your PictoBox into the Deluxe PictoBox. The Forest Fireflies are large lights that shine in rainbow colors: not the little green lights that are everywhere in the Forest Haven. You'll need to catch one in an Empty Bottle and bring it to Lenzo.
NINTENDO GALLERY - On the small island north of Forest Haven is the entrance to the Nintendo Gallery: the biggest sidequest in the game. To enter the Gallery, you need to get to its "island" off of Forest Haven. Use the Boko Buds and your Grappling Hook to reach the branch you first found the Deku Leaf on. Use the Deku Leaf to glide from here to another Boko Bud at about the same level. Glide from here to a large ledge and exit the Forest Haven. Once outside, a cutscene will show you the island with the entrance to the Nintendo Gallery. Set the wind to the north and glide over there. Once you're there, use a Hyoi Pear to gain control of a seagull. Fly back to the side of Forest Haven and look for an alcove with a crystal switch. Once you hit the switch, the Nintendo Gallery entrance opens and a ladder drops down from the island to make life easier for you. To become an official member of the Gallery, show the sculpter Carlov a color Pictograph of anything you feel like.
PIECE OF HEART - from Treasure Chart 31
TREASURE CHART 3 - To the south of Forest Haven is a tall island. Start your path inside Forest Haven, but when you reach the second grappling post, don't swing across, but climb to the top of the pole. Set the wind to the south and glide to the island. There you will find the chest containing Treasure Chart 3.
WITHERED DEKU TREE QUEST - In the cutscene after the Forest Haven annual ceremony, you will see 8 Koroks flying away to the Great Sea. Talk to the Great Deku Tree or visit any of the specified islands and you'll find out that the new trees aren't doing well. You will need to give each of them water from Forest Haven. Easy enough, right? Not really. After you get the Forest Water in an Empty Bottle, you have 20 minutes to water all 8 trees before it becomes regular water. You will obviously need the Ballad of Gales for this to work. If you use this route, you should be able to do it in time:

  1. F7 - Cliff Plateau Isles
  2. F3 - Shark Island
  3. D2 - Greatfish Isle
  4. E1 - Needle Rock Isle
  5. E5 - Private Oasis
  6. C5 - Eastern Fairy Island
  7. B2 - Mother & Child Isles
  8. A2 - Star Island
Your reward for beating this quest is a Piece of Heart.

F7 - Cliff Plateau Isles
The Cliff Plateau Isles are basically a few small islands close together and a larger one apart from those. There really isn't too much to do here.
POINTS OF INTEREST
SEA PLATFORM - This platform to the southeast of Cliff Plateau Isles is guarded by several Wizzrobe Acolytes, but the treasure chest is there all along.
SECRET CAVE - Jump from the first few small isles and enter the Secret Cave on the third. The Cave itself doesn't have a prize; it's a way for you to reach the highest isle. To start, jump across the floating platforms to the grassy ledge. Defeat the Boko Babas and run {or walk, I suppose} the ramp. Go around the wall of thorny vines and kill the Boko Baba to turn it into a Baba Bud. Jump to the tree trunk from the Baba Bud and hit the boards across from you with a Fire Arrow to burn them away. Use the Deku Leaf to glide to the unblocked ledge and enter the light beam. You emerge on the highest isle where a treasure chest containing Treasure Chart 25 awaits you.
TRIFORCE SHARD - from Triforce Chart 5
WITHERED DEKU TREE - appears after beating the Forbidden Woods

G1 - Horseshoe Island
This island, named for its shape, is guarded by an army of Seahats and a Cannon Boat. Once you're on the island, you get to play a fun game golf.
POINTS OF INTEREST
SEA PLATFORM - Southeast of Horseshoe Island is a pair of Sea Platforms. Hitting the Pressure Switch on either platform makes a treasure chest appear on the other.
SILVER RUPEE - from Treasure Chart 9
TREASURE CHART 8 - To get this chart, you have to play 3-hole golf across the island. Pick up a Boko nut and throw it towards the flag in front of you. Don't go too close: vines will come up and block your way. If you miss, either blow the nut toward the hole with your Deku Leaf or try again. Once the nut gets in the hole, the vines dissappear and you can proceed. Use this same process for the second hole. On the third hole, you can only use your Deku Leaf. If you miss the hole, blow the Boko nut into the sea so another one grows into its place. After the third hole, enter the Secret Cave. After beating a Mothula and two Wingless Mothulas, the treasure chest containing Treasure Chart 8 appears.
TREAUSURE CHART 28 - When you win your game of golf, instead of dropping into the Secret Cave, set the wind to the east. Use your Deku Leaf to glide to the rock at the center of the island to claim Treasure Chart 28.

G2 - Outset Island
Outset Island is Link's home, and the place where the game will start. He lives here with his grandmother and his sister, Aryll. You'll be returning here often.
POINTS OF INTEREST
BEEDLE'S SHOP SHIP - can be found circling the island
ELIXER SOUP - When you return to Outset Island to visit Jabun, take a minute to visit your grandmother. You find her in her rocking chair, sick and delirious. Stand right next to her and release a fairy from one of your bottles. {With your newly aquired bombs, you can get one from the fairy fountain in the forest on Outset} The fairy will heal her, and she gives you the Elixer Soup. This soup restores your health and magic power, plus doubles your attack power until you first take damage. Plus, the bottle is so full that you get two servings! Unfortunately, you can only have one bottle of Soup at a time, but come back to Outset any time for unlimited free refills.
HERO'S SHIELD - After you rescue Tetra from the forest on top of Outset Island, you'll need to find something to defend yourself with before Tetra will let you come on her ship. Go back to your house and climb to the loft. Oh no - the shield is gone! Go back down to the main floor and talk to Grandma. She gives you the shield {after a short speech} to help you on your quest to save Aryll.
HERO'S SWORD - After you see Tetra being dropped into the forest, head over to Orca's house. He notices your "troubled" look and offers you a chance to practice with a sword. Complete his lesson and he presents you with the Hero's Sword.
HURRICANE SPIN - After you collect ten Knight's Crests, visit Orca and show them to him. In return, he teaches you the Hurricane Spin Attack. It consumes magic power, but turns Link into a...well...hurricane to take down anything around him.
ORANGE RUPEE - Look for the opening under the porch of your porch and crawl into it. Crawling around, you will see a small opening. Inside is a chest containing an Orange Rupee.
PIECE OF HEART - To get this Piece of Heart you'll need the Power Bracelets and a stash of All-Purpose Bait. Carry Abe's giant pig across the bridge over by Mesa's weed patch. Look for the dark soil in the corner by the ledge to the weed patch and the rock cliff. Throw the pig into that corner and spread some Bait onto the black soil. The pig should dig in the soil and unearth a Piece of Heart.
PIG COLLECTING - In the beginning of the game, if you want to be able to get the Piece of Heart mentioned above {and get some easy cash}, visit Rose, the woman standing in the pig pen outside of her house. She tells you that she's looking for a pet pig. There are a total of three on the island. The wild black pig is in the grass patch being watched by Abe, who gives you advice on catching pigs. The location of the pigs seem to be random, but there are only two others, not counting the black pig. After you get each pig, throw it in the pen and then talk to Rose. She will give you a Rupee for each one. When you come back after beating the Forsaken Fortress, you will find a GIANT black pig there, which Rose has kindly named after you.
WALLET UPGRADE - Once you have your Bombs, go to the forest {where you first found Tetra} and visit the local Fairy Fountain. Since the bridge is gone, you will need to stand on the very top of the [former] wooden end of the bridge and glide over using your Deku Leaf. Remember to set the wind to the west. In the beginning of the forest, you will see a giant cracked boulder. Blast it open to gain entrance to the Fairy Fountain. The Great Fairy there will grant you the ability to carry more Rupees.
SAVAGE LABYRINTH - Deep in the depths of Outset Island lies the Savage Labyrinth, a deep cavern of all the enemies you've ever fought! *cue the onimous music!* Anyways, you'll have to go here to get the necessary Triforce Chart, but you can continue even further to get an insane amount of Rupees and a Piece of Heart. It's also a nice place to go if you really just want to take on a bunch of enemies without going too far. The Labyrinth contains 51 floors, but you only have to make it through 31 if you're just here because it's necessary. It's good training, though. {Let it first be noted that I refer to the rooms with just pots and the light beam to the surface as "resting rooms"} Anyways, here's the breakdown of the Labyrinth, floor-by-floor:

  1. Resting room
  2. An insanely large number of Keese
  3. 6 Miniblin
  4. 4 Bokoblin
  5. 4 Red ChuChus
  6. 4 Magtails

  51. A Piece of Heart
TELESCOPE - After you get your Hero's Clothes from your grandmother at the beginning of the game, she instructs you to go find your sister, Aryll. She can be found at the watchtower. When you talk to her, she lends you her telescope as a birthday present.
TRIFORCE SHARD - from Triforce Chart 4

G3 - Headstone Island
Headstone Island is rocky and barren; named, as you guessed, for the stone head in the center of the island. But it doesn't hide the entrance to a Secret Cave - it covers the entrance to the Earth Temple. Until you have the Power Bracelets there really isn't much reason to visit. The island is guarded by a single Cannon Boat.
POINTS OF INTEREST
EARTH GOD'S LYRIC - Once you get the Power Bracelts, come to the island and remove the stone head to reveal the entrance to the Earth Temple. Here you will find a large stone engraved with a new song - the Earth God's Lyric. When you get out your Wind Waker, the Zora sage named Laruto appears and gives you instructions.
MIRROR SHIELD - Your prize for defeating the Earth Temple's miniboss is the Mirror Shied - a shield that reflects light! It can be used against many enemies and will be essential within the dungeon and outside of it.
PIECE OF HEART - Take out a Hyoi Pear to control one of the nearby seagulls. Fly up to the very top of Headstone Island and fly into the Piece of Heart resting there. Once you've hit it, switch back to Link. When you do, Link gets the Piece of Heart.
SILVER RUPEE - from Treasure Chart 40
SUBMARINE - Do not attempt to enter the Submarine northwest of Headstone Island. Some glitch in the game makes Link fall right into the minefield when he enters the Submarine. There are Bomb Flowers everywhere, and Bombchus run here and there, throwing even more bombs at you. Keep moving and L-target them; then destroy them with your Boomerang. Your prize is Treasure Chart 14.

G4 - Two-Eye Reef
You should know the drill by now - clear out the reef for your prize. However, a trapped Great Fairy nearby will upgrade your Magic Meter if you free her.
POINTS OF INTEREST
MAGIC UPGRADE/BIG OCTO - Look for the circling seagulls and sail toward them. The 4-eyed Big Octo is different from the rest, though - when you kill it, a Great Fairy emerges! It turns out she had been trapped by the Big Octo for a while, as the Merman near this very reef hinted. As a reward, she doubles your Magic Meter.
SEA PLATFORM - The single Sea Platform southeast of Tow-Eye Reef is cannon-free, but it sure is crowded! After you beat all of the enemies you get a nice Purple Rupee for your efforts.
TREASURE CHART 13 - This Treasure Chart is your reward for clearing out the reef.
TRIFORCE SHARD - from Triforce Chart 8

G5 - Angular Isles
I'm not really sure if the Angular Isles should even count as islands - they're nothing more than two block structures covered with algae. Wait until you have your Mirror Shield to visit the Secret Cave here.
POINTS OF INTEREST
PIECE OF HEART #1 - This Piece of Heart is just waiting for you in a chest on top of the largest isle, but you'll have to work to get up there. Climb the block stairs on the eastern side and run around the lowest level. You should notice a very small indent on the ground - in front of that is a moveable block. {For future reference - the moveable blocks are the ones with the least algae on them} On the next level, look to your right for the next moveable block. Push that block off the ledge and along the wall. Climb up and you'll find yourself with two moveable blocks in front of you - stacked on top of each other. Pull out the bottom one halfway and climb them. From there, it's easy to get all the way to the top.
PIECE OF HEART #2 - from Treasure Chart 15
SILVER RUPEE - This Silver Rupee can be found in the Secret Cave under the smaller of the two islands. You can either use your Hookshot to reach the top of the island from your boat or glide there from the larger island using the Deku Leaf. Once you're inside, you'll see a pile of blocks the lead up to two intersecting light beams. Once you've solved the puzzle, reflect the light onto the transparent chest using your Mirror Shield. Reach it with the Hookshot or Deku Leaf to claim the Silver Rupee.

G6 - Boating Course
An island heavily guarded by Seahats, the Boating Course is a small little island where you can test your skills handling your boat {what else?}. The game is run by the sailor Loot.
POINTS OF INTEREST
BOATING COURSE MINIGAME - Talk to Loot to start this minigame. It's 30 Rupees to play, but it pays off. Basically, you have to sail around the roped-off area and get as many Rupees as you can and make it to the finish line before 4 minutes have passed. There are two kinds of barrels: ones floating horizontally, or ones floating vertically. Feel free to sail over the horizontal ones, but if you forget to jump the vertical ones you'll be thrown out of your boat. If you want to cheat a bit, go around the left side of the island instead of through the finish line. There are a total of 150 Rupees on the course. Each time you play, however, Loot lowers the time by 10 seconds.
SEA HEARTS CHART - from Treasure Chart 32
SUBMARINE CHART - Set the wind to the north and use your Deku Leaf to glide to the smaller part of the island. Among the grass you will see the entrance to a Secret Cave. To make the treasure chest appear, you have to trigger the three crystal switches. But to make life tough, a constant stream of Miniblin attack you relentlessly. As long as you don't get too frustrated by the Miniblin, this Secret Cave is actually pretty easy.

G7 - Five-Star Isles
Like the Seven-Star Isles and Star Belt Archipelago, Five-Star Isles is nothing more than five very tall spires guarded by Kargarocs. You won't be doing anything on the island; but near it there's some interesting things.
POINTS OF INTEREST
FULL MOON LIGHT RINGS - Under a full moon, 3 light rings appear near the isles, each hiding a Red Rupee.
GHOST SHIP - Under a right crescent moon, the Ghost Ship can be seen circling the isles.
PIECE OF HEART - from Treasure Chart 33
SEA PLATFORM - Destroying the cannons on the single Sea Platform southwest of Five-Star Isles makes a treasure chest appear on the platform itself. 2 Pirate Bokoblin guard it, as usual.
SUBMARINE - At the southeast corner of the Great Sea is yet another Submarine. Your only enemies here are a few Bokoblin and Keese. The reward is suprising, given the low level of difficulty.

Part III: Trasure Chart List

There are 41 different Treasure Charts just waiting to be found, and I promise you that they are all worth their while. You can find them in many different places: dungeons, gifts from people, in Secret Caves, etc; so keep an eye open. Unlike the random light rings, which only contain up to 50 Rupees, the rewards from the Treasure Charts are awesome. Only one chart is dissappointing: it's reward is a measly 1 Rupee. Other than that, Treasure Charts are a very good investment.

Treasure Chart 41 - Five-Eye Reef {F2}, after beating the Forsaken Fortress. Cannon, Deku Leaf, Wind Waker required.

Part IV: Other Charts

Besides the regular Treasure Charts, there are a few other charts that will be very useful if you want to play Wind Waker to its fullest potential. I HIGHLY recommend getting these charts as soon as possible. Since the charts don't mark what you have defeated or recieved {besides the Octo Chart, see below}, it is very annoying if you get these charts late in the game.

Beedle's Chart - to recieve this chart, visit any of Beedle's shops after you have beaten the Tower of the Gods. It's handy whenever you need something from Beedle, since you can see which island he is on nearest to you.

Ghost Ship Chart - this chart is necessary, since you need to find the Ghost Ship in order to obtain Triforce Chart 4. The chart tells you which island the ship is located near depending on the phases of the moon. You can find this chart on Diamond Steppe Island {F1}.

Great Fairy Chart - this chart is pretty self-explanitory: it shows you where all of the Great Fairies are located. The two shown on the chart with blue wands are the fairy that doubles your magic meter and the Fairy Queen. This chart can be found in Four-Eye Reef {B1}. Treasure Chart 41 is required.

IN-Credible Chart - for once, Tingle has done something good! After you have beaten the Wind Temple, he mails you this chart. Unfortunately, he charges 201 Rupees, so you must have at least gotten the first wallet upgrade. This chart is extremely useful, though; it shows you where all 8 Triforce Charts are located, and once each chart has been decifered {by none other than Tingle himself, for 398 Rupees}, the location of the Triforce Shard is marked there, too.

Island Hearts Chart - this chart simply tells you which Islands have Pieces of Heart hidden. It can be found at the Flight Control Platform {B7}. Treasure Chart 19 is required.

Light Ring Chart - this chart tells you the location of the light rings that only appear under the full moon. It can be found at Cyclops Reef {D3}. Treasure Chart 21 is required.

Octo Chart - this chart is actually one of the nicer ones in my opinion, because it marks which Big Octos you have killed, even the ones you kill before obtaining the chart. The chart shows you the locations of the 5 Big Octos, and the number of eyes each one has. You can find this chart at the Northern Triangle Island {C4}. Treasure Chart 26 is required.

Platform Chart - this chart shows you the location of the Sea Platforms scattered across the Great Sea, and the number of Platforms in that quadrant. This chart can be found in the Submarine off of the Flight Control Platform {B7}.

Sea Hearts Chart - this chart tells you the location of the Pieces of Heart that are found from the various Treasure Charts. It can be found at the Boating Course {G6}. Treasure Chart 32 is required.

Secret Cave Chart - this handy little chart tells you which islands house Secret Caves so you don't have to look for them yourself. You can find the chart at Overlook Island {A7}. Treasure Chart 13 is required.

Submarine Chart - this chart is also very useful, since it tells you where the various Submarines can be located. You can find it at the Boating Course {G6}.

Tingle's Chart - this is possibly the most pointless chart in the entire game, in my opinion. You will recieve this chart in the mail the day after you free Tingle from his cell at Windfall Island {yes, it was necessary... *shudder*}. It shows you where Tingle's Island can be located, and where the two Great Fairies who give you Wallet Upgrades can be found.
