Community — Links & Site Reviews

Listed below are links to some of the best Zelda websites out there. If you own a Zelda site and would like it listed on your page, send me an email with the URL to your site, and I'll put it up ASAP. Also, please note I will only be linking to other Zelda websites on this page, so please don't ask for a link exchange if you have a general gaming site (the only feasible exception I can see is a Nintendo site). Lastly, note that all sites below are rated with a minor rating system based on out of eight Triforce Shards (). Not all sites are reviewed, but all are rated.

North Castle
[8/8]
North Castle is, in so many words, my favorite Zelda website out there. If not only because of Juliet Singleton's tireless dedication to what she calls "Vintage Zelda" and all the elements thereof, but also because of NC's amazing fan works archive with works spanning eight years of the Zelda Community's hard efforts. Also housed at North Castle is the epic fan fiction that Juliet and her sister Kirsty have written over the past years. If you're looking for a great, classic Zelda site, you cannot go wrong with North Castle!

Ganon's Tower
[6/8]
I've always admired Ganon's Tower for the pioneering work it did in the early Zelda community and the rapid pace that it reached the heights of the community following the collapse of the first HTLoZ years ago. However, despite the proud tradition of GT, updates have become sporadic, and it seems that Dan (the webmaster) is tragically losing interest in his site. Let's hope this reverses itself. Nevertheless, GT is still a gem well worth supporting.

Zelda Legends
[7/8]
Zelda Legends is undisputably the top dog in the Zelda Community these days, the product of a merger between two top-notch Zelda sites: Legends of Zelda and Zelda Legends a while ago. Featured there is a treasure trove of Zelda information, media, articles, downloads, and much more. I heartily recommend this site to anyone interested in Legend of Zelda!

Midnight Castle's Legend of Zelda
[7/8]
No where will you find a Zelda site as unique as MCLoZ. Moreover, the webmistress (Maxine Magicfox) is one of, if not the most, pleasant webmasters/mistresses in the entire Community, which makes the site all the more enjoyable. Unique sections abound at the Midnight Castle, including the Beta Zelda Files and Link's Infinite List of Tortures. All in all a primo destination and heartily recommended.

Rauru's Return
[6/8]
A rising star in the Zelda Community if there ever was one. RR is helmed by a dedicated webmaster who has done great things in his work there. Two particular attractions to the site are the many, wonderful articles and the auction roundup feature that Rauru's Return does every week. This site is doomed to join the upper crust of the community one day.

The Grand Adventures
[7/8]
One of the best, old timer sites in the community. The Grand Adventures is best known for its classic design, featuring the artwork of the many past staff artists. One of the best aspects of TGA is just that, the design, and the fact that the webmaster (The Missing Link) is strident in his insistence to keep TGA as it is. Other great aspects of this site are its interactive features—namely, Say What? and David Linkerman.

Legends and Adventure
[6/8]
Legends and Adventures is a great site run by a great webmistress, Lysia. This site has a special charm all its own, and a noticable dedication to what it does best. One of my favorite spots here is the Zelda commercials page where L&A has archived (you guessed it) many of the Zelda commercials over the years. L&A also features an amazing collection of Fan Art.
