zelda ix: the wind waker
songs list
Once Link receives the Wind Waker from the King of Red Lions at Dragon Roost Island, he gets the ability to learn the six different songs that are available in the game. Listed below are those six songs, and how exactly to get them. To help in the specific location, you may want to consult our reference map of the Great Sea to decipher what the grid location is.
- The Wind's Requiem can be learned on Dragon Roost Island (F2) when Link approaches the Wind Shrine behind the island with the Wind Waker in hand. The Wind's Requiem, when played, can be used to control which direction the wind blows. Necessary for navigating the Great Sea. Up, Left, Right.
- The Song of Passing can be learned from the dancing man on Windfall Island (D2). Target him and use the Wind Waker to get him to dance for you. Copy his dance moves with motions of the Wind Waker to learn the song. Link can sue the Song of Passing to change day into night and vice versa. Right, Left, Down.
- The Command Melody is learned at the Tower of the Gods (E4) while completing the dungeon there. Link uses it to command certain objects/figures like the statues in the Tower of the Gods. Left, Neutral, Right, Neutral.
- The Ballad of the Gales can be learned at any one of Cyclos' cyclones after retrieving the Hero's Bow from the Tower of the Gods. One particular location to find a cyclone is the closest to the Tower of the Gods, Northern Triangle Island (D3). Use this song to summon a cyclone that can transport you to one of several grids. Down, Right, Left, Up.
- The Wind God's Aria is learned inside the cave on Gale Island (D1). You'll need it to recruit Makar to become the new Wind Sage as well as help Makar perform the ceremony that makes him replace Fado as the sage. Up, Up, Down, Right, Left, Right.
- The Earth God's Lyric is learned inside the cave on Headstone Island (C7). You'll need it to recruit Medli to become the new Earth Sage as well as help Medli perform the ceremony that helps him replace Laruot as the sage. Down, Down, Neutral, Right, Left, Neutral.
