The principle task of Majora's Mask is obviously gathering the various masks of the game. In all Link can collect about 24 Masks, 20 masks for gameplay, 3 Normal Transformation Masks, and 1 Secret Mask. Each mask has its own function from the Deku-morphing Deku Mask, to the Keaton-challenging Keaton Mask. Below is a list of each Mask and details of how to get them.

Deku Mask After you retrieve the Ocarina from Skullkid in the First 72 Hours go to the Mask Salesman and he'll teach you the Song of Healing, which will make you return to the normal Link form and give you the Deku Mask. In addition to being flammable, the archenemy of dogs, and considered a child, Link can also fly by way of Deku Launch Pads and hop across water.

Goron Mask Ever feel the need for speed? When you take on the form of Darmani, hero of the Goron Tribe, you can roll into a ball and race at break neck speed, punch, and pound. To get this mask, you need to go to behind Goron Village where the Owl is. Follow his feathers across the chasm to the far off cave. Inside is the Lens of Truth. When you recross the chasm use the lens to see Darmani's Ghost. Follow him all the way back to the Mountain Village and up the cliff. Inside, play the Song of Healing for him and the Goron Mask is yours.

Zora Mask Floating out in the Great Bay, surrounded by a flock of seagulls, is Mikau the guitarist of the Indigo-gos in his death throes. Drag him to shore and play the Song of Healing for him to obtain the Zora Mask. With this Mask, everyone thinks you are Mikau giving you access to all of Zora Hall, you have the ability to swim like a Zora, and even produce a electric field to protect you.

Mask of Truth Recieve the Mask of Truth from the man trapped as a spider in the Swamp Spider House by finding all the Gold Skulltula tokens in the House.

Mask of Scents After defeating Odwala in Woodfall, go see the Deku Butler in the Shrine to the left of the Deku Palace. Inside, follow him to the end of the shrine where he will give you the Mask of Scents. use this mask to smell out Mushrooms in the Woods of Mystery.

Great Fairy Mask Find the lone yellow broken fairy and bring it to her sisters in the North Clocktown Fairy's Fountain and she'll return to normal and give you the Great Fairy's Mask. Use this mask to attract broken fairies in Dungeons and it will shimmer if there are still fairies in the room.

Giant Mask Use this mask (found in Stone Towers) to battle the dungeon boss, Twinmold. You can only use it in the boss room of Stone Towers.

Stone Mask Using the Lens of Truth, bring a spare bottle of Red Potion to Shiro, the inconspicuous soldier, in the first area of Ikana Canyon with all the Bombchus. He's sitting in a circle of stones. Give him the Potion and in return you'll get the Stone Mask which will ake you unseen to most people including Sakon the Thief and Gerudo Guards!

Don Gero Mask Use this mask to assume the identity of Don Gero, the leader of the frog choir. While wearing the mask, talk to the frogs at the Laundry Pool in Clocktown, Mountain Village, Woodfall (as Gekko), Great Bay Dungeon (as Gekko), and Snowhead (as Gekko) and then bring Spring to the mountains. Talk to the frogs and they'll perform and give you a Heart Piece.

Couple's Mask On the very final night help Anju and Kafei wed (see this walkthrough) and they'll give you the symbol of their union as this mask. Use it to quell the fight/meeting in Mayor Dotour's office for a Heart Piece.

Captain's Hat After beating the Captain of the Ikana Army, Skull Keeta, past the Graveyard in a race, Link will be rewarded with this Mask allowing him to become the leader of the Stalkids around Termina!

Bunny Hood Using this Mask will allow you to run and jump much better than usual. Get it by rounding up the Cuccos behind Romani Ranch using the Bird Mask on the third day.

Blast Mask Foil Sakon's robbery of the Old Lady from the Bomb Shop in North Clocktown at midnight on the First Day and she'll give you this mask in appreciation. Use it as a free bomb by hitting the B button to explode. It takes a minute before you can use it again.

Kafei Mask Talk to Madama Aroma in her office on the first day and she'll give you this mask to find Kafei. Use it in the search for Kafei.

Garo Mask Defeat the Gorman Brothers in a Horse Race to win this evil mask. Wearing it in Ikana Valley summons the Garo, a really cool Ninja-like warrior that you have to defeat for hints.

Stay Awake Mask Use this Mask to... stay awake. After saving the Bomb Shop Lady's bag, go to the Curiosity Shop on the Third Day at 10pm to buy this mask for 500 Rupees. Of course, you'll need the Giant's Wallet from the Ocean Spider House to hold that much money. Use the mask to stay awake during Anju's Grandmother's stories for Heart Pieces.

Circus Leader's Mask Go to the Milk Bar and talk to Toto the Zora band manager. He'll ask you to sound test the stage. Talk to him in all four forms and play the parts of the Ballad of the Wind Fish. Gorman at the bar will be touched and he'll give you the Circus Leader's Mask. It has no real purpose...

Bremen Mask Go see Guru Guru at the Laundry Pool at night and he'll tell you his humorous story about the last troupe he was in. After he finishes he'll give you the Bremen Mask as thanks for listening to him.

Postman's Hat During the Kafei & Anju sequence, take the Priority Mail you get from the Curiosity Shop Owner and give it to the Postman. He'll deliver it to Madame Aroma in the Milk Bar. When he exits the Bar from his last delivery he'll give you the Postman's Hat. Use it to search the mailboxes. You'll find a Heart Piece in one, 1 Rupee a time in others.

Gibdo Mask Play the Song of Healing for the "Gibdo" in the closet of the music house in Ikana Village and this mask will fall off him. You can use it to talk to Gibdos. You'll need this to retreive the Mirror Shield from the well.

Keaton Mask During the Kafei & Anju sequence, the Curiosity Shop Owner will give you this mask that Kafei always wears. Wear this mask to slash the bush group in North Clocktown or Milk Road and a Keaton will appear. She'll quiz you with five questions. The first time you answer all correctly you get a Heart Piece.

Romani Mask After saving Romani Ranch from Aliens, the next day protect Cremia's Milk Delivery from the Gorman Brothers and she'll give you this mask. Use it to be an official member of the Milk Bar. Necessary if you want to buy Chateau Romani.
