four swords adventures - gameplay notes

There has been some confusion, notably on my part, on how FSA can be both a GameCube game AND a GBA game. Furthermore, when navigating Hyrule Adventure there are some differences based on how one is experiencing the game (ie. with a single GC controller, a GBA linked to the GameCube, or on GBAs with multiple players). Therefore, for those teeming confused masses (myself included), this particular section is for you.

One Player, Two Players, Red Player, Blue Player

There are three ways that Hyrule Adventure can be played: single-player with the GameCube controller, single-player with a GBA connected to the GameCube, or multiplayer with GBAs connected to the GameCube. Shadow Battle can only be played multiplayer with multiple GBAs connected to the GameCube.

Formations

To make it easier for a single-player to control multiple Links, the game includes a formations system. In it, the player can rotate through four different ways to make the four Links stand to allow for certain movements, moves, or styles of combat. The four formations are cross in a diamond formation, allowing the Links to perform a special spin attack, as well as hit everything surrounding them; wide in which they line up from left to right, which is useful for pull levers downward or pushing large blocks up or down; long, which is like horizontal but top to bottom in arrangement, allowing a different dimension of the previous' utility; and lastly, block where they pile up 2x2 for an efficient fighting block.

More to be added as issues arise.
