Legend of Zelda: The Twilight Princess
Characters

Here is a limited list of principal characters from TP that we have gleaned from what has been released thus far from and about the game. More will be added as names and descriptions are learned.

	Link is the hero of this tale, and as we find him, a young citizen of Toaru Village, a settlement on the border of the Kingdom of Hyrule, employed as a simple cattle hustler. When the mayor decides to send Link in his stead to the annual Hyrule Summit, Link is sucked into the massive events of the Twilight Princess, and embroils him in one of the most epic adventure of his life.
	Zelda is the Princess of Hyrule, following in a long line of similar namesakes in her family. When Hyrule is plunged into darkness by an unknown foe, Zelda is somehow transformed into the mourning Twilight Princess. Many mysteries remain about the Princess—specifically her role in this adventure, why she wears a Sheikah symbol on her robes, and whether or not (as speculated) she will be a playable character in this game.
	Midna is an enigmatic creature who meets Link while the two are locked up in what appears to be a Twilight form of Hyrule Castle. Because both are limited in their twisted forms, both Link and Midna decide that they are better served by working in tandem. As such, throughout the game, Midna rides on Wolf Link's back and uses her (?) robes as a transformative weapon against any enemies the pair face on their journey.
	Ilia is a Taoru Villager who is apparently a great friend of Link's at the start of the game. From her our hero acquires his trusty steed, and instruction on how to ride it (though Ilia dislikes how Link pushes the horse to jump). From what we know, moreover, it is Ilia's peril at the hands of the boar knights that cast Link into the Twilight world.
