Equipment Updates

Quiver
  • For the Big Quiver, complete the first round of the STAR game on Castle Town's south thoroughfare. This holds 60 Arrows.
  • For the Giant Quiver, complete the second round of the STAR game. The Double Clawshots will be necessary to do this. Holds 100 Arrows.
Bomb Bag
  • For the Extra Bomb Bag, ride the River Rapids where you'll be confronted by a Zora who needs assistance removing some boulders. use the Bomb Arrows to do so, and upon completion he'll present you with a second Bomb Bag which you can keep a different type of Bombs in.
  • You can get another bomb bag by blowing up the giant magma rock that fell to the bottom of the large pool in the Zora's Domain throne room with water bombs. Talking to the Goron inside and he'll thank you for freeing him with a new Bomb Bag. Now you can carry some of each type of bomb with you!
  • Rerun the the Rapids Ride, but this time playing the Jar-shooting game. You have to make it to lake hylia with 25 points intact, which is no short order, considering every knock against the walls or another obstacle takes away a point from your total. Once you reach the Lake with the needed points, the Zora will give you a Bomb bag upgrade that will double the capacity of every Bomb Bag (retroactive to any others you pick up after).
Wallet

  • For the Giant Wallet, give all 24 golden bugs to Agitha. It holds 1,000 Rupees.

Getting the Magic Armor

  1. Complete Goron Mines so that Malo founds Malo Mart in Kakariko.
  2. Once Malo opens his store in Kakariko Village, after some time the Goron Elders will visit town and one of them will sit outside of Malo Mart asking for help restoring the western bridge to Castle Town. With the bridge repaired, the Gorons can resume Hot Springwater deliveries to Town. Donate the 1,000 Rupees needed for repairing the bridge to the Elder hanging out with the collection box in Malo Mart.
  3. The Goron Elder outside malo Mart will ask you to deliver some Hot Springwater to a Goron on the newly-built western bridge. If you accept you'll begin in the western portion of Hyrule Field with a barrel of Hot Springwater on your head. Go to the bridge, avoiding the enemies along the way, and toss the barrel onto the Goron to revitalize him. You'll receive a Heart Piece in return.
  4. Return to the Elder and now all you'll need to donate to open a Castle Town Malo Mart is 200, rather than the original 2,000.
  5. Go to Castle Town to find the new Malo Mart open, offering amazing deals on various items, and the Magic Armor for 598 Rupees. Magic Armor makes you impervious to harm, but uses up Rupees to wear.
