Known Items
In addition to the stock Hero's Sword and Hero's Shield, several items that will appear in the game can be discerned from released screenshots.
![]() | Bombs are a must-have item and will obviously be making a return appearance. Not word yet how the touch-function operates them. |
![]() | Bombflowers can be found on one of the islands, and play an important role in the defeat of the Wind Octorok boss. |
![]() | The Boomerang is unique in this iteration of the Zelda series because it's path is plotted out by drawing an arc on the touchscreen, which the 'rang then dutifully follows back to Link's hands. |
![]() | The Bow and Arrow return as well, though no news yet on how they function in regards to the touchscreen.. |
![]() | With the Cannon Link can once again engage in naval combat. No news on whether the Cannon is just the Bombs at sea, or a separate item entirely. |
![]() | The mysterious Phantom Hourglass is the eponymous itemm of this game, though it's exact function in the game is unknown aside from the fact that Link needs it to "buy himself time" to save Tetra. |
