"First [and possibly] Annual Zelda Puzzle Challenge", proclaims TML! 23 Jul 2007 — by kamakaziplumber |
The land of Hyrule has gone without its famed hero, Link, for four years. After rebuilding its Castle Town and falling back into a peaceful, though uncertain, time, the residents are beginning to doubt that the Hero will ever return should trouble arise, despite Princess Zelda's assurances. When the Princess receives a letter from Ganondorf himself, announcing his imminent return. Wracked with terror and guilt, the Princess prays to the Goddesses for help.
Appearing as an answer to her prayers, Nayru and Din explain that because Zelda essentially banished Link, their sister Farore died with the loss of the Triforce of Courage. Still, not wanting to have their land destroyed the two Goddesses formulate a plan: Nayru creates a puzzle containing a solution to defeating Ganondorf. However, this puzzle cannot be solved without the solution to six more puzzles, given to the sages of the land. These solutions would aid in finding the answer to the final puzzle, and defeating Ganondorf without Link. And so, new potential heros must be hired to find the solutions, and only one can be the new Hero of Wisdom. Will it be... that person, over there? Or maybe YOU? Find out in The Legend of Zelda: The Road to Ganon! Coming this August to a website near you! So, anyways, go to http://puzzle.zeldablog.com for the full story, the rules, the prizes, and the registration. See you all in August! ![]() |
