Link enters the house of the first thief, noticing him trying to pack up what little he has.

Thief "No! Too early! You weren't supposed to come so quickly!"
Link "Sorry to disappoint. Where is the Triforce?"
Thief "Hehehe, like I'd tell you."
Link draws his sword and points it at the thief. "If I can defeat Ganon, don't you think I can take a two-bit thief you?"
Thief backs away. "Okay okay! The Triforce is in the Forest Fortress, and protected by a Forcefield."
Link "And how do I go about breaking this force field?"
Thief "Hehehe, you'll need the Three Pendants, and you'll never find those, our men have them--"
Link Grabs the Thief and throws him to the ground. "Where are your comrades? Where are the Pendants?"
Thief "Th-they are all over the place, one in the Graveyard, one in the Desert, and one in the Falls."
Link "Much better. Take him away boys."

Soldiers Enter the room and grab the Thief.

Thief "Wh-what? I can't go to jail? They'll come after me!"
Link "You'll be safe from the outside, don't worry."


Soldiers' Leader "Ga'ses Link, dontcha think ya were a little rough wit 'im?"
Link Sighs. "I know, but I have to, or else I wouldn't have gotten the information out of him."
Soldiers' Leader "Where to next?"
Link "The graveyard. That's where the first Pendant is."
