"All entries that you may access below are the dead and buried updates that I tend to. Wait, what? Are you saying there's something odd with comparing an updates archive to a graveyard?? Well, what other work do you expect me, a hunchbacked old man that uses an elaborate series of grunts for communication, to find?!"
6/30: Minor Housekeeping Notice
Great news! I can finally tick off another item in my list, as I have finally fixed the layout so that it does not warp when viewed with Mozilla Firefox. This is an awesome improvement for both myself and others who are/may be Firefox fanatics yet couldn't enjoy TDC in their favorite web browser due to the layout deformities. Anyways, enjoy that, and I'll play around with all the pages on the site to find any bugs and such. If you find any other problems with the rendering of the layout, feel free to contact me and let me know. Until next update!
6/30: I Have Not Yet Begun to Update!
Hey all, well I'm finally hitting that stride I've been looking for, and have begun work on my Under Development list. First things first, the submissions: the Caption Game has 20+ new captions, and Ezlo has fielded 10+ new questions at Ask Ezlo. As for content, the finally part of Disappearance of the Races, Chapter IV: The Gerudo, is now up. As you can imagine, it focuses primarily on Ganondorf, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. In any case, I shall return next time with the usual suspects (ie. submissions) as well as another item of my list. Until then!
6/28: Ready the battle plan!
Hey all! Well, as I intended, the Under Development page has been updated with my newest battle plan for work on the site. I have already begun work on the articles section. Hopefully I'll knock off the more trivial things in the next two updates or so, and definitely patch up TDC's Firefox compatibility issues in that timespan as well. As for submissions, Ask Ezlo has been updated with a bunch of new letters, and the Caption Game has finally been updated to the next edition. Old edition is now archived, and the Best of the Bunch is declared. I'll be back next time with the article I'm working on, plus some more work on the list, plus submissions of course. Until then!
6/26: Submissions, mostly
Hey all, I have finally gotten to the bottom of my submissions pile, and now that I'm finally caught up with that business, and have completely made a fool of myself with the last update (re: no new Caption Game edition), I'm ready to finally get down to business. Firstly, tonight's update include more than fifty new Ask Ezlo letter and more than twenty new Caption Game submissions. Next, there is a new theory at the "Who Are the Rito?" mystery, and a new link to a great site, ZeldaForums.net. Finally, there is a new piece of Fan Art at the Museum.
So as to my point, it's time to buckle down for TDC, and you'll finally begin to see new content, articles, and more. I'll be back next time with an update to the Under Development page when I work out a battle plan, plus submissions. Until then!
6/19: Surprise! (An update)
Well, I actually have a good reason for the delay over the past 11 days (sigh). As of two days ago, Hyrule Adventures 2, the sequel to the hit RPG forum game, is now open. If you want to recreate an epic Zelda adventure along with others in a vast world setting where you can be a member of many beloved Hyrulian races, then this game is definitely worth a look for you.
Continuing onward, we start with thirty odd new Caption Game submissions and about forty new Ask Ezlo questions. However, that's only about half of the total Ask Ezlo submissions I have, the other half are coming next update. Also in the submissions arena is a few new letters at the Mailbag. The "Who Are the Rito?" and "Is Jabu-Jabu the Windfish?" mysteries have a new theory for each as well. Moreover, there is a new link in the Links section. Last but not least, the Museum has been updated with two great new pieces by a returning artist, Doreen. Be sure to check out her great work!
I'll be back Tuesday for sure with the next edition of the Caption Game, plus the rest of those Ask Ezlo submissions, and whatever non-submission content I have prepared. Until then!
6/8: Twilight Princess revamp and some Captions
Phew, I barely made that deadline! Though, one may argue that's not entirely something to be proud of. Erm, in any case, I have begun work on the Twilight Princess game guide, which you can find here, revamped in full preview mode. I still have some sections to add, and then some articles to write for it, if I can think of a few good sections, but for now you can find an Official Art collection, a characters description page, and a few more bits of preview info. Next on the list is the Caption Game which has eleven new submissions. I'm going to hold off on Ask Ezlo for one more day, just because I don't have time to get that all settled and get this update out to the "presses" on time. In any case, I will return next time with more TP content, a Mailbag edition (finally!), Ask Ezlo, Captions, and more. Until then!
6/7: Captioning Mini-update
Hey all, I've got a minor "placeholder" update to catch the deadline for the Caption Game switch while I finalize what you can expect in the next update or two. You know the drill: old Caption Game has been archived and categorized (this edition was hilarious by the way, great work everyone!) and the new one is available for your captioning pleasure. I'll be back most definitely tomorrow with Ask Ezlo, Captions, and some Twilight Princess content goodness. Until then!
6/1: Another Unnecessary Delay
Gah, well I can't say I'm pleased with the delay between today's update and last's, but I was unfortunately kept away from updating by a hectic schedule. Nevertheless, I have returned with tons of great stuff for tonight's update. First things first, I have relegated the May 2005 updates to the archives, which you can find here. Next, the Caption Game has finally been updated with about fifty (!) new submissions. Likewise, Ask Ezlo has an ungodly number of new submissions as well.
Moving on to the Compendium, the Disappearance of the Races feature has that new article that I've been promising. I skipped over the Gerudo for the moment and did the Minish one next, which is mroe speculation than anything, but still worth a read. Also the "Who is Kaepora Gaebora?" theory has a brand new submitted theory.
I've finally changed all the references of "Next Zelda" on the main pages to "The Twilight Princess" as well as in the Jumpbox on the top of the pages. My next step is to retool and expand the game guide for the next Zelda (ie. Twilight Princess) and add what we've learned from E3 to it. My other next step? The stupid Coppermine gallery! That is my second-to-next project to work on.
Lastly, but certainly not least, we have a great new affiliate, Zelda Connection. ZC recently moved to a new domain with a brand new layout, and now that they're settled you should definitely pay a visit to them! As for me, I'll be back next time with another flood of submissions, as well as the Twilight Princess section's updating. Until then!
