zelda vii: oracle of seasons
walkthroughs - an act of courage

You'll start the game in the middle of the screen. Walk east and talk to everyone in the "troupe". Talk to Din twice to dance with her and then Onox will attack. Din will be carried away and you can watch a cinema of her and Onox.

When you regain control, go south. You'll enter Horon Village.

A CLOSER LOOK AT Horon Village
Horon Village is probably the largest village in the game. There are many things to do there, but the only two profitable things are to vist the Mayor (top northeast screen) for a free Gasha seed. Plant the seed outside his house. Then go south towards the Maku Tree to the house with a ring on it. Meet Vasu inside and he'll give you a ring, and appraise it as the Friendship Ring. After he explains the ring system you can go get the sword. Visit Bipin and Blossom in the double house and talk to the mother. She'll let you name her baby. Do it!
Go to the top northwest most screen of the village and head west. Now, go left one screen, then down, and right (using the lower right path) to reach Hero's Cave. The cave is basically self-explanatory, no bosses, just dodge the enemies. When you reach the room with the block, push it to open the closed doors. Go north for the small key, south for the sword (past the locked door).

After you get the sword, go to the cliff above the Cave and cut the bush so you can jump in the well. Collect the 30 Rupees in the well.

Now, return to the village and go to see the Maku Tree (east from the south right-most corner of the village). Use the sword on the big door to enter. Pop the bubble coming out of the tree's nose to wake it up, and get the Gnarled Key. Now, return to the North Entrance of the Village.
