The Minish Cap - Fairy Fountains and Great Fairy Locations

Throughout Hyrule there have always been the Fairies, a benign fey race dedicated to helping the mortal peoples of Hyrule, and especially Link, in their struggle against enemies of the land. Listed below are the various fountains where these fairies converge, great if you are looking for a place to fill up a bottle with an extra life (of sorts). Moreover, further below are the locations of the Great Fairies, who give you upgrades to your equipment.

South Hyrule Field
To the left of the front gates of the Castle go down the steps and blow open the cracked wall by the water’s edge.

Base of Mt. Crenel
To the left of the No Climbing! wall there is a cracked wall. Inside is a fountain and three blue rupees.

Mt. Crenel
To the left of the Crenel Wall are two spiky rocks. Blow the wall in between them to find a Fountain, with a Heart Piece no less, inside!

GREAT FAIRY FOUNTAINS

Mt. Crenel, The Great Mayfly Fairy
Climb Crenel Wall, and at the fork in the road, head right, and then get off the wall at the signpost ledge. Blow open a hole in the wall at the end of the path and go inside to find a Fair Fountain, but this time one that houses a Great Fairy! Toss a Bomb (drop it, lift it, and toss it) into the Fountain and when the Fairy asks you if you tossed a Golden Bomb, Silver Bomb, or neither, be honest and say neither. She’ll reward you with a Big Bomb Bag that can hold 30 Bombs!

Minish Woods, the Great Butterfly Fairy
From Eenie and Meenie's farm, head right to find a hole next to a cliff. Use the Cane of Pacci to jump the cliff and at the top head right. You'll enter the Minish Woods where a tree stands with a door in it. Go inside and downstairs to find the Great Fairy's Fountain. Give her all your Rupees and she'll reward you with the Big Wallet!

Royal Valley, the Great Dragonfly Fairy
Just inside Royal Valley, go down the stairs and bomb the wall inbetween the two fenceposts. You'll reveal the entrance to the Fountain, so head inside. When the Fairy rises from the pool she'll pose a series of question to you, they are as follows:

   The first Element you found was the Fire Element, was it not? (No.)

   Your grandfather's name is Smee, isn't it? (No.)

   Melari of Mount Crenel has seven apprentices, does he not? (Yes.)

   The Blabber Nut gives one the ability to understand the Minish, does it not?    (No.)

   The robe of the current king of Hyrule, Daltus, is white, is it not? (No.)

Answer all five correctly and the Large Quiver is yours!
