The Minish Cap - Tiger Scrolls

[Hyyaaahhhh!!] Sitting in his dojo in Hyrule Town waits Swiftblade, the Greatest Swordsman in All of Hyruletm. By talking with him, as his many relatives scattered throughout Hyrule (check the list below for locations), you can train in various sword-fighting techniques. These techniques, as you learn them, are recorded on Tiger Scrolls, accessible in your inventory, and a helpful reminder of how to pull off some of the more difficult maneuvers.

[#1] Spin Attack – Press and hold your sword button. Charge and release!

[#2] Sword Beam – When your hearts are full, swing your sword!

[#3] Dash Attack – Equip your Pegasus Boots and sword, then dash away!

[#4] Peril Beam – When you have only one heart left, swing the sword!

[#5] Rockbreaker – Break pots with your sword! That’s all there is to it!

[#6] Roll Attack – Roll! Then swing your sword as you start to get up!

[#7] Down Thrust - Equip the Roc's Cape and the sword!! Jump and swing!

[#8] Great Spin Attack - Perform a Spin Attack... and hit the button repeatedly!

Dojo Locations

Swiftblade – Swiftblade lives in his Dojo in southwestern Hyrule Town. He teaches four different techniques: (#1) Spin Attack, when you first meet him (#5) Rockbreaker, when you get the White Sword (#3) Dash Attack, when you get the Pegasus Boots and (#7) Down Thurst, when you get the Roc’s Cape.

Grayblade – When you can use split tiles, climb the wall behind where you find the Grip Ring on Mt. Crenel. Inside is Grayblade’s Dojo, beyond where you must use the split tiles to proceed. Grayblade will teach you (#6) Roll Attack.

Waveblade – In Lake Hylia, while swimming in the Lake itself, head to the southwest corner where a dock is on the west shore. Go ashore and then south to find a tree with a door in it. Inside is Waveblade’s dungeon. He will teach you (#4) Peril Blade.

Grimblade – In Hyrule Castle Gardens burn or slash away the giant square of bushes in the southeast corner of the Gardens. A ladder will be revealed, which you can descend to find Grimblade’s dungeon. Light his torches and he’ll teach you (#2) Sword Beam.

Swiftblade the First – In the Castor Wilds you’ll find a lone Tombstone in the northwest corner of the map. Inside is the grave/dojo of Swiftblade the First, who will teach you (#8) Great Spin Attack.

Fusion-unlocked Dojos

There are still three hidden dojos that you can unlock by fusing with the other Blade Brothers. They are as follows:

[Scarblade]
Fuse Kinstones with Grayblade and a waterfall in Castor Wilds will open up. Inside is Scarblade's Dojo, where you can learn the improved Spin Attack.

[Greatblade]
Fuse Kinstones with Waveblade and a waterfall in North Hyrule Field will open up. Inside is Greatblade's Dojo, where you can learn the improved Great Spin Attack.

[Splitblade]
Fuse Kinstones with Grimblade and a waterfall in Veil Falls will open up. Inside is Splitblade's Dojo, where will gain the ability to gain spirit faster.
